Eshwar tells UV that he is unfairly blaming Katha, who never meant to hurt him. Ambika becomes upset with Eshwar for preventing UV from expelling Katha from the house. Eshwar firmly reminds UV that he cannot throw Katha out. Before UV can argue further, Shikha steps in to calm him. Both Shikha and Charu request UV to let go of his anger and participate in the post-wedding rituals with Katha, but UV, in a fit of rage, throws objects and declares that he will not take part in any rituals. He challenges the family to choose between him and Katha.
Katha follows UV, pleading for his forgiveness and urging him not to hurt the family. UV lashes out, furious that Katha previously called his mother dead. He declares that he will not accept their marriage and storms off. Katha blames herself for the misunderstanding, but Shikha comforts her, acknowledging her mistake and guiding her inside. Chandrika scolds Katha, criticizing her failed attempt to reconcile with UV, while Rukmini expresses her disappointment at Katha for hurting him.
Eshwar explains to Rukmini that no one in the family knows whether UV’s mother is alive, as she left the house years ago. Katha is shocked and recalls the first argument she had with UV, when she had mentioned his mother. She regrets her words and feels deep remorse for the blunder.
Chandrika criticizes the family and doubts whether Katha will be able to change UV. She also complains about the incomplete rituals. Katha gathers the suhaag items and promises Eshwar that one day she will win UV over. Eshwar is pleased with her determination and assures the family not to worry, believing UV will return once he calms down. He encourages Katha to perform her first rasoi, which she does obediently.
Meanwhile, UV drives recklessly, recalling Katha’s words about his mother and the recent events. He vows not to accept her as his wife. Ambika seizes the opportunity to manipulate the situation and instructs Tammy to track UV. Tammy eagerly agrees.
Katha happily serves the dish she prepared as part of the ritual. Ambika arrives, prompting Shikha to confront her for misleading Katha about UV’s mother, shocking everyone. Chandrika questions Ambika, who feigns offense at Shikha’s accusation. Chandrika then scolds Katha for causing a conflict between Shikha and Ambika, leaving Katha upset. Ambika announces she will not participate in the ritual and walks away. Katha follows, pleading with her to change her mind, but Ambika refuses, leaving Katha hurt and questioning her fate and her marriage.
