Chandrika questions Katha for failing to bring Ambika around and criticizes her actions. Katha silently agrees with Chandrika’s remarks, feeling guilty, and apologizes. Determined to make amends, she decides to prepare prasad and ensure Ambika eats it. She heads to the kitchen, while Eshwar thanks God for inspiring Katha and prays for her to be able to change UV.
Meanwhile, UV enters his mother’s café with a heavy heart. He picks up his mother’s recipe book and reflects that apart from the memories and recipes she left behind, he has nothing. He vows that one day he will restore his mother’s place in the Jindal household. Angered that Katha had called his mother dead, he feels betrayed and becomes furious that Eshwar does not seem to care about his mother, who was a daughter-in-law of the Jindals, just like Katha. Determined, UV vows not to participate in his reception with Katha, regardless of his family’s efforts to convince him otherwise.
At the Jindal residence, Katha prepares prasad for God while Eshwar and Rukmini watch from outside. Eshwar reassures Rukmini that although others have questioned his decision to make Katha part of the household, he believes it is God’s will and that Katha will be able to change UV. After offering the prasad to God’s idol, Katha confidently tells the family that even Ambika will not be able to refuse the food. Everyone feels hopeful. Katha silently prays for UV to return home.
Ambika, holding nuts, mutters that she will not remain hungry and that Tammy will ensure UV avoids his reception with Katha. Hearing Katha and the family calling, she opens the door, irritated by their persistence. Katha offers Ambika the prasad, who initially refuses but eventually eats it at the insistence of Eshwar and Rukmini, though she remains annoyed. Katha wonders whether UV has eaten.
Later, Eshwar proudly tells Rukmini, Kailash, and Chandrika that Katha has the ability to achieve the impossible. Chandrika expresses concern about UV’s absence and the upcoming reception, but Eshwar reassures them that Katha will bring him back. Katha then serves bitter gourd juice to Eshwar and Kailash, who praise her courage, though Rukmini teases Eshwar lightly.
Kailash reminds Katha that it is her responsibility to change UV and ensure he returns home. Feeling guilty about hurting UV, Katha promises to reconcile with him. Just then, UV’s cousins arrive and inform Eshwar that UV’s phone is unreachable. Confidently, Eshwar states that Katha will bring UV back and hints at a celebratory singing competition. Worrying about letting down Mohan and Eshwar, Katha prays for guidance. A peacock feather falls from the idol, filling her with hope and determination.
Precap: Katha questions her future and her ability to win back UV in her married life.
