Katha picks up a fallen photograph from the ground, but it is smeared with mud, leaving her unsure of whose picture it is.
The next morning, the Jindal family gears up for UV’s haldi ceremony. Rukmini requests Ambika to begin the ritual, but Ambika refuses, leading Rukmini to take charge herself. Chandrika taunts UV’s mother for abandoning the family years ago, and Rukmini quickly urges her not to provoke UV, fearing he may refuse to get married. She instructs Shikha to bring UV downstairs.
Uv’s cousins, friends, and uncle escort him down for the ceremony. They ask him to remove his kurta for the haldi application, but UV vents his irritation about the entire situation. Shikha then asks Rukmini about the cow dung to be used in another ritual, leaving UV and his cousins disgusted. UV internally vows to stay far away from both the cow dung and the “cow-dung goddess.”
Meanwhile, Naina and Vandana visit Katha’s room. They see her staring emotionally at her mother’s wedding lehenga and photo, and quietly leave her alone. Katha speaks to her mother’s photograph, sharing her worries and hopes for her future as a married woman.
At Uv’s home, Eshwar urges Rukmini to begin the haldi ceremony quickly, and Chandrika agrees. Rukmini convinces UV to sit for the ritual, though he remains annoyed. Charu explains the significance of haldi and reminds everyone that some must also be sent to the bride’s family. Hearing this, UV suddenly gets an idea to derail the ceremony. Acting enthusiastic, he urges everyone to apply haldi on him. The family is confused by his sudden excitement and Shlok questions him. UV dodges the question and insists Chandrika begin. She applies haldi, followed by the rest of the family.
Inside, UV thinks that even if today’s plan fails, he will definitely stop the wedding. Chandrika overhears his muttering and scolds him. After the ritual, UV gathers his cousins and friends for a “Code Red” meeting. He reveals his next plan to sabotage the wedding and decides to involve his detective. Shlok overhears the discussion. Having once been part of their Manmoji Gang, he easily interprets their schemes and decides to foil Uv’s plans.
Later, UV instructs his detective to ensure the haldi never reaches the bride’s home. The detective declares it his life’s most important mission. Shlok can’t hear every detail, but he realises UV is attempting to stop the wedding and rushes to inform Eshwar.
Meanwhile, Katha steps out for her haldi ceremony. She takes Mohan’s blessings. Vandana blesses her with hopes of a bright future and becomes emotional.
Precap: UV spills haldi on Katha, and she lashes out at him. Uv mocks her when he learns she is getting married. Later, due to Tammy’s conspiracy, the principal canceled Katha’s exam. Believing UV is responsible, Katha vows never to forgive him.
