Anurag wishes Ishani a happy birthday. Surprised, Pihu asks Ishani if it is really her birthday. She then turns to Anurag, questioning whether he arranged everything and how he even knew about Ishani’s birthday. Anurag lies, saying he noticed the date on Ishani’s admission form. Pihu excitedly praises Anurag, calling him sweet for planning such a thoughtful surprise. Anurag, however, notices that Ishani does not seem happy.
Pihu hugs Ishani and warmly wishes her. She says she knew no one in the house remembered Ishani’s birthday and urges her to smile on this special day. Pihu then asks Anurag if he had messaged her to bring Ishani there. Anurag replies that he is glad Pihu did not reveal anything beforehand and successfully brought Ishani along.
Pihu teasingly tells Anurag that she was talking about him to Ishani. Anurag says he deserves to know since it concerns him and jokingly adds that Ishani must have been badmouthing him. Pihu denies this. Just then, the waiter brings the cake. Anurag presents a bouquet of flowers to Ishani, which she hesitantly accepts. Pihu excuses herself, saying she will be back shortly.
Left alone, Ishani questions Anurag about the meaning of all this. Anurag responds that her birthday has always been important to him and still is. He assures her that he will never forget this day. Ishani bitterly remarks that he must have forgotten everything else. Anurag counters that she never tried to understand the truth. Ishani says meeting like this is wrong and admits she feels uncomfortable. Anurag replies that she would not feel that way if he were allowed to tell the truth.
Pihu returns and suggests they cut the cake. Ishani questions the need, saying she is getting late for classes. Anurag insists that she cut the cake first and promises to handle her classes. Ishani cuts the cake and feeds Pihu. Pihu then asks her to feed Anurag as well. Hesitant but obliged, Ishani feeds him, and Anurag feeds cake back to her.
As Ishani urges Pihu to leave, Pihu insists that Ishani should return Anurag’s kindness. When Ishani asks how, Pihu suggests singing a song. Anurag supports the idea and requests his favorite song. Encouraged by everyone, Ishani begins to sing, recalling cherished moments she once shared with Anurag. The crowd applauds her performance.
Later, Ishani and Pihu return home and notice that the house is decorated. Raj Didi informs them that guests will be arriving in the evening. Pihu asks about Shashwat and Nandini, and Raj Didi replies that both went out together. Pihu excitedly assumes that Shashwat must have planned a birthday party for Ishani.
However, Raj Didi taunts Ishani for going to college. Pihu defends her, asking when Raj Didi’s complaints will ever stop. She reminds her that Ishani completes all her household responsibilities before leaving for college. Raj Didi remarks that Pihu has started talking back to her frequently. Pihu firmly responds that Raj Didi should stop emotionally blackmailing Ishani, knowing she has nowhere else to go.
An irritated Raj Didi sits silently. Pihu tells Ishani that she will help her get ready and takes her inside. Left alone, Raj Didi thinks it would have been better if Nandini had become Shashwat’s wife. She convinces herself that Shashwat and Nandini will grow closer and that Nandini will eventually teach Ishani a lesson.
Meanwhile, Ishani recalls the moment when she saw Shashwat hugging Nandini, her unease growing stronger.
