Nandini learns that she has secured the contract and is visibly delighted. Raj Didi notices her happiness and asks the reason. Nandini replies that it is business-related good news and enquires about Shashwat’s whereabouts. Raj Didi says he is likely in the study room, and Nandini leaves.
Meanwhile, Ishani seeks Raj Didi’s blessings. Curious, Raj Didi asks what is special today. Ishani reveals that it is her birthday and adds that she will step out only after finishing her household work.
Raj Didi warns Ishani that once Shashwat’s patience runs out, his anger will be unbearable. Ishani calmly responds that she cannot miss her classes and says she is grateful for the opportunity to continue her studies. Raj Didi questions what Ishani hopes to achieve by studying at this age. Ishani firmly replies that she is studying for her own happiness—nothing more.
Pihu arrives and Ishani reminds her to wake up early. Pihu excitedly says she plans to take Ishani out for a while. Raj Didi worries about who will cook, but Pihu suggests hiring a cook or asks Raj Didi to help. She encourages Ishani to dress up nicely. Raj Didi comments that there is so much work pending, yet Ishani is still making plans. Ishani reassures her that she is fulfilling all her responsibilities.
Heading toward the study room, Ishani is stopped by Raj Didi, who advises her not to disturb Shashwat while he is working. Ishani confidently replies that Shashwat is her husband and she knows when to speak to him, before walking away.
Inside the study, Shashwat warmly hugs Nandini and congratulates her on getting the contract. He expresses his happiness, saying he is glad she will now stay in Kolkata. Ishani witnesses this from outside. When Shashwat notices her, he asks what she is doing there. Ishani says she came to speak with him. Nandini offers to leave, but Shashwat asks her to stay.
Ishani respectfully takes Shashwat’s blessings. He then asks if today is her birthday. Ishani also takes Nandini’s blessings and quietly leaves the room.
Afterward, Nandini questions Shashwat about forgetting Ishani’s birthday. Shashwat coldly asks whether Ishani even deserves to be his wife. He admits that he married Ishani only for his children. When Nandini asks what kind of woman he truly likes, Shashwat tells her that the woman he wants is standing right in front of him. Nandini assumes he is joking, but Shashwat insists he is serious, saying they are both lonely.
Elsewhere, Pihu takes Ishani to a restaurant. Ishani wonders if she has invited someone else, but Pihu says she hasn’t. She then openly confesses that she is in love with Anurag. Ishani reminds her that Anurag is much older, but Pihu argues that age does not matter in love. Ishani worries that she cannot allow Pihu to ruin her life and feels unsettled by her own restlessness whenever Anurag’s name comes up. Pihu tells Ishani not to overthink and takes her inside.
To Ishani’s surprise, she sees Anurag along with the birthday decorations. Everyone sings “Happy Birthday” for her. Anurag warmly wishes Ishani, leaving her emotional as she realizes that he still remembers her birthday after all these years.
