The atmosphere shifts when Raghav arrives at the Awasti house along with Bhajan and Vaibhav. Vaibhav questions Aarti, asking if she has no shame in addressing her grandfather by his name. Aarti responds firmly that Raghav himself told her not to call him grandfather, which is why she now addresses him by his name. She remarks that she is merely respecting his wishes.
Aarti then asks Raghav why he has come. Raghav replies mockingly, calling Ganesh the true meaning of failure who has never won a case. He states that since Ganesh filed a case against him, he has come to throw the legal notice in their faces. Raghav throws the notice at Aarti. He taunts her about her claim that she will secure Anjali’s rights. He challenges her to first prove that Anjali was legally married to Aman.
Turning to Anjali, Raghav sarcastically asks whether she plans to stand in court and declare that Aman married her. He further insults her by asking if she wants money. Raghav takes a handful of cash from Vaibhav and asks Anjali how much she wants. Anjali struggles to speak but cannot form words.
Aarti becomes furious. She asks Anjali if she heard how Raghav insulted her and her relationship with Aman. She rebukes Raghav and asks Ganesh to read the contents of the notice. Ganesh explains that it is a reply to their legal notice, demanding proof that Anjali is Aman’s lawful wife.
Aarti directly asks Ganesh whether Anjali and Aman were married. Ganesh confirms they were legally married and states that he himself is a witness. The chawl residents also step forward, declaring they witnessed the wedding.
Raghav dismisses them, stating that testimony in the neighborhood is meaningless and that only admissible evidence matters in court. Bhajan escalates the matter by saying they must also prove that Aarti is the legitimate daughter of Aman and Anjali, since everyone believed she had died at birth. Raghav supports this argument, further humiliating her.
Enraged, Aarti accuses Raghav of stooping to any level for money, even arguing the case of his own son’s murderer.
Hearing this, Raghav raises his hand to slap Aarti, but she firmly catches his hand mid air. Ganesh urges her to let go, reminding her that Raghav is her grandfather. Aarti declares that she will destroy Raghav’s reputation for humiliating them today. She vows that if she fails, she will accept being labeled an illegitimate child.
Raghav, Bhajan, and Vaibhav leave.
After they depart, Ganesh consoles Aarti. Aarti states that if Raghav were not her grandfather, she would have already taught him a severe lesson.
Precap: During a video call, Kali asks Aarti whether Ved will love her as much as he loves Aarti. Ved arrives and declares that he loves only Aarti. Aarti tells Ved to behave properly. Ved insists that in love there is nothing but love. Kali, overhearing this, argues with Aarti for repeatedly calling Ved and criticizes her intentions.
