The principal confronts Anurag, saying he broke her trust. Anurag explains that the letter doesn’t prove he harassed Ishani. The principal points out that Ishani is a student and Anurag is a professor, so she could fire him for having a relationship with a student. Anurag clarifies that Ishani is currently a student, not in the past, and admits he knew her when they were both students. He reveals he was supposed to marry Ishani, but it didn’t happen. He says Ishani is now in an abusive relationship and he met her again. He confesses he still loves her and is certain Ishani loves him too. He asks what wrong he committed by loving someone and agrees to accept being fired.

The principal questions why he didn’t tell her earlier. Anurag explains it was personal, and he didn’t want to involve Ishani. The principal points out Ishani is married, asking how Anurag can enter her life now. Anurag insists he hasn’t harmed her married life; he only wants to support her as a friend since she lacks respect and options in Shashwat’s house. He announces he will resign. The principal advises him not to decide in anger and offers to transfer him to another branch instead, claiming she now understands Shashwat’s manipulations.
When asked why Ishani didn’t speak up yesterday, Anurag says she is married and unwilling to leave her husband. He explains that she is adjusting in Shashwat’s house due to limited options. The professor notes Shashwat and Ishani seem on good terms. Anurag says if that’s true, he will leave Ishani’s life and asks the principal to tell Shashwat he was fired, to satisfy his ego. She urges him to reconsider, but he leaves.
Later, Pihu holds Anurag’s hand. He tells her to let go and walks away. Pihu follows, insisting he can’t reject her feelings. She threatens suicide if he leaves her and vows she won’t forgive Ishani. Anurag tells her Ishani did nothing wrong. Pihu accuses him of loving Ishani too much and says she will get him at any cost.
Anurag calls her mad, saying Ishani left him but he still loves her. Pihu reminds him Ishani is married and claims he will be responsible if she dies. She declares he won’t get Ishani and demands he accept her.
Precap: Ishani tells Shashwat that the letter has caused big trouble. She says she only wants to study, but Shashwat is against it. She decides to leave the house after getting her degree. Pihu blames Ishani for ruining her life.
