Pihu recalls how Anurag knows everything about Ishani and says it makes sense now. She agrees with Shashwat, accusing Anurag of using Ishani. She lashes out at Ishani, claiming her trust was broken. Nandini smiles at this, while Pihu feels ashamed of calling Ishani her best friend. She confronts Anurag, asking why he didn’t tell the truth when she proposed. Shashwat is shocked. Pihu declares her hatred for both and runs off. Ishani cries, looking at Anurag.
Later, Ishani enters her room and tells Shashwat she had no idea about Anurag’s letter. Shashwat asks why she is scared, acknowledging she did nothing wrong. He asks if she thinks Anurag acted correctly, but decides he will punish Anurag for sending the letter, saying it’s about Ishani and the family’s reputation. He remarks that Pihu’s reaction shocked him and asks why Ishani supported Pihu. Ishani insists she didn’t. Shashwat questions whether she has a special place for Anurag in her heart.
He confronts Ishani about falling into Anurag’s trap, mentioning Nandini’s claim that feelings could be mutual after reading the letter, though he does not believe her. He reassures Ishani she has nothing to fear, locking the door from inside.
Ishani asks why he closed the door. Shashwat replies it’s nighttime and holds her hand. Ishani says she is tired and wants to postpone the discussion. Shashwat insists, claiming she never accepted him as her husband and presses her about an affair with Anurag. Ishani denies it, but Shashwat physically assaults her by strangling her and twisting her hand, asserting his legal claim as her husband.
Precap: Ishani tells Shashwat she will leave him and his house after completing her degree. Nandini questions whether Ishani will marry Anurag afterward. Pihu says she never expected Ishani to ruin her life and implies Ishani will face consequences.
