Ritesh works out while replaying Shakuntala’s words in his mind. Rahul notices his distraction and asks whether he is thinking about what Shakuntala conveyed. He reminds Ritesh that after a long time, Shakuntala took Indu’s name instead of his and even gestured toward the vermilion. Ritesh brushes it off, claiming that Shakuntala probably wanted to apply a tilak for Indu. Rahul challenges him, asking whether he truly does not understand or is pretending not to. He bluntly states that Shakuntala wants Ritesh to marry Indu. Ritesh reacts sharply and declares that he will never marry someone like Indu.

Rahul asks what the real problem is and reminds Ritesh of his initial attraction to Indu when he first saw her. Ritesh replies that was before he knew her true nature. Now that he knows her character, he cannot accept her as his wife. Kaamna, who has been listening outside, enters and questions what is going on. Rahul explains how Shakuntala kept taking Indu’s name and pointed toward the vermilion, clearly indicating marriage.
Kaamna scolds Rahul and insists he is misunderstanding the situation. She claims Shakuntala was only reminding them of an incomplete ritual. Ritesh feels relieved. Rahul asks Ritesh to be punctual for his shoot the next day and leaves. Kaamna advises Ritesh to rest and exits, though she grows anxious, fearing trouble if Rahul’s interpretation is correct.
The next morning, Indu helps Zoon pack her school bag and urges her to hurry so she does not miss the bus. She notices Zoon looks upset and asks why. Zoon says she wants to stay with Indu at home instead of Vivek’s place, though she knows it is not possible. Indu is shocked when Zoon mentions that she knows Indu does not have enough money. When asked who told her this, Zoon reveals she overheard Neelam talking to a friend.
Sunita and Rajender arrive. Sunita apologizes for misunderstanding Indu and admits she troubled her without considering her bond with Zoon. She hands over the house papers, asking Indu to sell the house and create a fixed deposit in Zoon’s name. Indu refuses, explaining the emotional value of the house. Sunita insists that a home is made by loved ones, not walls. Rajender suggests transferring the house to Zoon’s name and appointing Indu as her caretaker. Indu refuses again, saying it would be unfair to Asha and Anjali. Asha and Anjali assure Indu that they only want Zoon in their lives and urge her to agree. The family praises Zoon and celebrates together by cutting a cake, sharing a rare moment of happiness.
Later, Ritesh, half asleep, feels someone tugging at his blanket and assumes it is Kaamna. He asks for more time to sleep, then opens his eyes in shock to see Indu in his room. Indu orders him to wake up, complaining about her workload and saying that being his wife does not mean she can follow him everywhere. Ritesh panics and asks what she is doing in his house. Indu confidently claims she is his wife. He notices a framed photo of the two of them and shouts in disbelief. Suddenly, he snaps out of the dream and finds Rahul there. Rahul is delighted when Ritesh recounts the dream.
Calling it progress, Rahul teases him, but Ritesh scolds him and leaves to get ready. Elsewhere, Kadambari praises her staff and gives instructions over a phone call. Sameer visits her and warns against overconfidence, reminding her that situations can change at the last moment. He hints at serious trouble brewing in the house and mentions that even Kaamna is stressed. He urges Kadambari to stay alert and reminds her of their upcoming meeting with the lawyer.
While showering, Ritesh hears someone calling his name. He turns around and is stunned to see Indu again. She scolds him for taking a long shower and lectures him on wasting water. She moves to close the tap, but Ritesh stops her and demands she leave. Indu threatens to return if he does not come out within two minutes and walks away. Furious, Ritesh storms into his room searching for her. Rahul smiles and reveals that Indu is not actually there. Ritesh goes to change, while Rahul confidently predicts that Ritesh will soon realize his feelings for Indu.
Meanwhile, Kalpana tells Sameer and Kadambari that they must create doubts about Indu’s morals and principles in court. Sameer assures them he can handle it, which pleases Kadambari.
Later, Indu walks barefoot along the road while talking to Payal on the phone. She injures her foot but continues walking. Ritesh, passing by in his car, initially thinks he is hallucinating again, but Rahul confirms it is really Indu and that she is limping. Ritesh rushes to her and questions her for walking barefoot, offering help. Indu refuses and walks away. Enraged, Ritesh lifts her in his arms. Indu struggles to free herself as onlookers record the scene on their phones.
Precap: Zoon excitedly tells Indu that Ritesh is bringing an ice cream stall for her. Indu notices how happy Zoon is with Ritesh. A group of children accidentally push Indu into Ritesh, causing the ice cream in her hand to splatter on his face. Ritesh retaliates by smearing ice cream on Indu’s face. Zoon joins in, smearing ice cream on herself, and they all burst into smiles.
