Rahi asks Anupama and Prarthana if everything is fine. Anupama replies that they were discussing the newborn. Prarthana adds that her delivery is near, so she feels tense. Anupama says an expectant mother is talking to an experienced one. Rahi remains doubtful, but Anupama avoids her question. She then asks Prarthana to keep Mahi and Gautam’s matter a secret. Prarthana asks if it is really important for her to leave, and Anupama confirms that she must go to Mumbai.

Vasundhara suspects that Anupama is instigating Prarthana. She questions Anupama and accuses her of manipulating Prarthana to return to the Shah house. Khyati states that Prarthana and Aryan will not go anywhere. Devika asks Mahi, Rahi, and Pari to go to the Shah house, which offends Vasundhara. Devika argues that if Prarthana can stay at Vasundhara’s house, then the others can stay at the Shah house too.
Anupama decides to leave. Rahi tells her she will not stop her. Khyati thanks Anupama, saying she has learned a lot from her. Vasundhara warns Khyati not to adopt Anupama’s nature and calls Anupama selfish. Anupama calmly replies that she doesn’t care about such opinions and chooses to go to Mumbai to live her dreams. Parag assures her that he will take care of both families. Vasundhara feels offended, but Leela asks her to stay quiet.
Pari asks Anupama to protect her and Raja from the evil eye. Anupama prays for them. Ansh tells Anupama he will stay at the Kothari house. She advises him to stay calm and alert. Mahi tells Anupama not to worry about her, as others are there to take care of her. Anupama prepares to leave and meets Prem before departing.
Pari asks Ishani for her mobile phone, saying she needs to make an urgent call. Ishani hesitates, but Pari insists. Meanwhile, Vasundhara prays for the New Year. Rahi asks Prem where he is going, but he avoids answering, making her suspicious. Prem secretly plans to surprise her.
Mahi supports Gautam, saying he is helping them secure an international deal. Ansh becomes furious, thinking Gautam is trying to replace him. Prarthana asks Ansh to return to the Shah house, but he refuses until he proves himself to Vasundhara and Parag.
Devika asks Anupama if she is tense, but Anupama postpones the conversation. Leela and Hasmuk are upset about her departure. Suddenly, Pari calls out to Anupama and breaks down. She reveals Ishani and Raja’s affair. The Shahs are shocked. Pari shows a picture as proof. Parag slaps Raja and confronts him. Anil and Meeta also blame Raja, and Ansh gets angry.
Raja tries to defend himself, but Gautam supports him and claims that the pictures are morphed. Raja hugs Gautam for backing him. However, Vasundhara blames Anupama’s upbringing and scolds Ansh, Rahi, and Mahi. Preet asks Anupama to come along.
Precap: Parag asks everyone not to inform Anupama about the situation. Anupama decides to leave, but the Shahs try to stop her, leaving her confused. Vasundhara announces that Pari cannot return to the Kothari house, as Parag and Meeta have decided the same.
