The Shahs and the Kotharis pray together. Anupama notices Mahi holding Gautam’s hand and feels confused. Rahi is also puzzled after seeing Prem on the mobile. Mahi tells Gautam that she has held his finger, so now he has to hold her hand.

Anupama thanks Vasundhara for organizing the grand puja. Vasundhara says it had to be grand because Anupama is leaving today. Anupama looks perplexed. Vasundhara explains that Anupama’s dreams and responsibilities are waiting for her and tells her not to worry about the family. Anupama replies that she is going, but she will always be there whenever her children need her. Vasundhara insists the kids are grown up and don’t need their mother all the time. Anupama says children need their mother regardless of age. Vasundhara bids her farewell. When Rahi sneezes, Vasundhara calls it a bad omen. Anupama reassures her that nothing bad can happen around careful people like Vasundhara.
Ishani tries to blackmail Raja for money. Raja tells her he isn’t a fool. Ishani worries that people will trouble her if she doesn’t give the money. Pari catches Ishani and Raja together, but they make an excuse, leaving Pari confused.
Anupama asks her family to stay united and care for one another. She prays for Mahi’s second marriage. Later, she sees Gautam giving water to Mahi. Prarthana warns Anupama that Mahi has fallen into Gautam’s trap and urges her to protect Mahi.
Anupama slaps Mahi. Mahi accuses Prarthana of manipulating Anupama. Anupama tells Mahi to stop talking nonsense and open her eyes to Gautam’s true nature. She asks Mahi how she can love someone like Gautam. Prarthana warns Mahi again. Anupama explains the difference between infatuation and love, saying Mahi and Gautam have no future together. Mahi refuses to listen, confesses her love for Gautam, and claims Prarthana is jealous. She questions why Gautam doesn’t deserve a second chance. Anupama continues reasoning, but Mahi decides to marry Gautam.
Gautam arrives and interrupts their conversation. Mahi takes him away, leaving Anupama and Prarthana tense. Prarthana urges Anupama to save Mahi, but Anupama says Mahi won’t listen and cannot be allowed to ruin her life.
Precap: Hasmukh says Anupama is leaving and the house will miss her. Pari enters crying and tells Anupama she can’t stay with Raja anymore. She reveals Ishani and Raja’s affair and breaks down. Anupama is shocked.
