Kadambari asks Zoon to hold her hand and stand up. From her place, Indu asks Zoon to stand on her own. Ritesh scolds Indu, telling her not to behave this way as Swati is watching. Indu ignores him and continues encouraging Zoon to stand independently. Kadambari repeatedly offers help, but Indu reminds Zoon of what she has taught her. Both Indu and Zoon recite that no matter how difficult it is, they must always stand up on their own because they are not weak. Motivated by Indu’s words, Zoon finally stands up by herself.

Everyone applauds Zoon’s strength. Zoon apologises to Indu for falling, but Indu reassures her and asks her to come to her. Zoon requests Kadambari to move aside so she can go to her mother. Kadambari steps away. Zoon then goes to Ritesh, who praises her and proudly lifts her in his arms before returning to his seat. The court proceedings resume as Swati asks Kalpana to continue.
Kalpana accuses Indu of influencing Zoon’s words in court. She further argues that the family environment must also be considered and seeks permission to call a witness. Swati allows it. Sunita enters the courtroom, shocking everyone. She explains that she was brought there suddenly and looks distressed. Indu pleads with Sunita not to say anything that could harm her chances of retaining Zoon’s custody.
Kalpana questions Sunita about her relationship with Zoon, mentioning complaints from neighbours about her attitude. Sunita denies disliking Zoon. When asked whether she had once suggested placing Zoon in an orphanage, Sunita hesitates but admits she did so out of concern for Indu’s future and marriage. Kalpana argues that even if Sunita treats Zoon well now, her attitude could change later and urges Swati to grant custody to Kadambari.
Meghna questions Sunita next and asks whether she has ever harmed Zoon. Sunita firmly denies it. When asked where she wants Zoon to live, Sunita emotionally states that Zoon belongs with Indu. This shocks Kadambari and Sameer. Sunita praises Zoon for bringing happiness into their lives and says she has taught them that relationships are not defined only by blood. Indu thanks Sunita with folded hands. Swati then announces that she wants to speak with Zoon privately before giving her decision.
Inside Swati’s office, Zoon waits patiently. Swati notices Zoon’s drawing and learns it is a sketch of her family. Swati is surprised when Zoon points to one figure and calls him her father. Swati reminds her that she does not have a father, but Zoon explains that she wants one because fathers never refuse their children and take them on trips like Lonavala. She clarifies that Indu fulfils all her wishes but feels a father could also take care of Indu, who often gets tired from managing everything alone.
When asked what kind of father she wants, Zoon happily says someone like her genie, Ritesh. Swati smiles and understands her feelings. Outside, Indu anxiously waits for Zoon. Ritesh joins her, and they argue playfully, calling each other a drama company and a traffic licence. Despite the bickering, Ritesh sits beside Indu.
Later, Zoon comes out and calls both Indu and Ritesh a bad girl and a bad boy. She says she is hungry and insists they eat together. She asks Ritesh to stay with them, and he happily agrees, lifting Zoon onto his lap while Indu sits beside him, glaring but staying silent.
Precap: Swati states that financial stability is also important in a child’s upbringing. Ritesh discusses his worries with Shakuntala about uniting Indu and Zoon. Shakuntala points to the vermilion box near God’s idol and takes Indu’s name, leaving Ritesh confused.
