Swati shares her dilemma with her husband Kalyan, admitting that she is deeply confused about Zoon’s future. Kalyan questions her confusion, prompting Swati to explain that Indu, Ritesh, and Zoon share no blood relation, yet they are bound by a beautiful emotional bond. Indu is not Zoon’s biological mother, yet she is her Yashoda. Ritesh has no legal or blood connection with Zoon, yet they love each other deeply. On the other hand, Kadambari is Zoon’s biological mother and is financially stable, but there is no emotional connection between them. This leaves Swati uncertain about delivering her final judgment.

Kalyan calmly tells Swati that the answer lies within her own question. He advises her to take a step back and look at the situation from a third person’s perspective. Swati agrees and steps out to call the driver. Outside, she notices Indu, Ritesh, and Zoon behaving like a small, happy family, which brings a gentle smile to her face.

Inside the courtroom, Kadambari grows anxious, fearing that Zoon’s private conversation with Swati might weaken her chances of winning custody. Sameer reassures her, expressing hope that the verdict will be in their favor. He also hints at a big surprise planned for both Indu and Ritesh, smirking confidently.

Swati returns to the courtroom and announces that she has already spoken to Zoon. She now wishes to question both Indu and Kadambari, asking them to step forward. Both women comply, though visibly confused. Swati asks Kadambari how she would manage her relationship with Zoon if she chose to remarry in the future. Kadambari pretends to be selfless and claims she would never marry, as Zoon’s happiness is her only priority and she does not want any man disrupting her daughter’s peace.

Swati then poses the same question to Indu. Indu replies honestly, stating that while she and Zoon are happy together, if she ever finds someone whose first priority is Zoon and who loves her even more than she does, she would willingly marry him. She explains that Zoon longs for a father’s love, and for her happiness, she is ready to do anything. Swati listens carefully and nods with a smile.

Turning back to Kadambari, Swati asks how she plans to provide a father’s love to Zoon if she refuses to marry. Kadambari becomes nervous and starts repeating Indu’s words about possibly marrying in the future. Swati points out that Kadambari is merely echoing what Indu already said. She then asks both women to return to their seats.

At that moment, Kalpana stands up and urges Swati not to deliver the verdict in Indu’s favor. She argues that while marriage discussions exist, financial stability is far more important for Zoon’s future, as her needs will increase as she grows older. Indu looks shocked and worried. Kalpana further claims that Indu has already done all she could for Zoon, implying there is nothing more she can offer.

Suddenly, Zoon interrupts from her seat, stating that Kalpana is wrong. Swati calls Zoon forward and asks her to speak freely. Zoon confidently tells the court that she is happy with Indu and calls her the best mother. She also narrates her first interaction with Kadambari, describing her behavior as cold and unkind. Zoon openly calls Kadambari a bad person and pleads with Swati to give the judgment in Indu’s favor.

Indu becomes emotional. Kalpana accuses Indu of raising Zoon in a way that makes her disrespect elders and once again urges Swati to rule against her. Swati responds calmly, stating that both love and financial stability are essential for a child’s upbringing. She explains that Indu has love and family support but lacks strong financial stability, while Kadambari has money but no emotional bond with Zoon. As a result, Swati announces that she is postponing the final judgment for one week and will deliver her decision after that.

Outside the courtroom, Meghna encourages Indu, reminding her that they have a week and miracles do happen. Indu, however, remains uncertain. She notices Zoon happily playing with Ritesh and quietly moves toward them. Kadambari tells Sameer that at least Swati understands their point of view and hopes to win the case.

Sunita meets Indu and apologises for her earlier words. Indu expresses relief and happiness that Sunita finally understands the bond she shares with Zoon. Indu then goes to take Zoon from Ritesh, but Ritesh suggests treating Zoon to food.

Zoon asks for ice cream, but Indu scares her with the idea of injections if she catches a cold. Ritesh suggests brownies, but Indu counters with the fear of stained teeth. Frustrated, Ritesh declares they will eat healthy food and stops Indu from overreacting, calling her a driving licence. Indu fires back by calling him a drama company. Zoon cleverly convinces Indu, and all three head to a restaurant.

While Ritesh stands at the billing counter, Zoon tells Indu about her conversation with Swati, revealing that she expressed her wish to live with both Indu and Ritesh as a happy family. Indu is stunned. Ritesh returns and starts playing with Zoon. Indu recalls her own words about marriage, Swati’s questions, Ritesh’s promise to do anything for Zoon, and Kalpana’s arguments. She looks at Ritesh and Zoon playing happily together and remains lost in thought.

Precap: Ritesh tells Shakuntala that the judge wants Indu to be financially stable. He worries about how to help her. Later, Ritesh takes Shakuntala in front of God’s idol. Shakuntala signals toward the vermilion box. Ritesh brings it to her and asks what she wants him to do. Shakuntala takes Indu’s name, leaving Ritesh completely confused.
