Indu opens her door, surprised to see Ritesh outside. Thinking he is there for Zoon, she asks why he came. Ritesh gives her a Vada Pav, telling her she doesn’t need to fast for him since their marriage is only for Zoon’s custody. Indu insists she is doing it for Zoon’s request. Ritesh wants her to eat so he can have food guilt-free, but Indu refuses, frustrating him. He scolds her and invites her to the Karva Chauth puja at his house, then leaves.
Reporters gather outside the Malhotra mansion for the annual Karva Chauth party, highlighting Ritesh’s impending marriage. Guests arrive one by one. Indu reaches in an auto, drawing the reporters’ attention, and walks past them with the help of guards. Kaamna’s friends make crude remarks about Indu’s attire and social status, comparing her to a maid, which makes Indu uncomfortable.
Inside, Dolly praises Indu’s simplicity and notices her dark mehendi, suggesting that Ritesh will care for both Zoon and Indu, surprising her. Kaamna insults Indu, accusing her of using Zoon to enter Ritesh’s life for luxury. Dolly takes Indu to Shakuntala, who blesses her. Dolly advises Indu to ignore Kaamna, reminding her of the differences in standards as she looks at the aarti thaali. Indu worries about fitting into Ritesh’s world but resolves to continue the marriage for Zoon’s sake.
Ritesh expresses anger over not being able to eat, and Rahul calms him. Later, Ritesh explains that the gift for Indu is a house tradition to not upset his mother. Kaamna overhears and plans to use it against Indu, criticizing her standards and the gift she received.
During the puja, Ritesh feeds Indu water and sweets, and they share a lingering gaze, signaling growing intimacy despite tension.
Precap: Indu angrily tells Ritesh not to force her with expensive gifts, and he scolds her back, both declaring the other will never change. Meanwhile, Sameer shows Kadambari pictures of Indu and her ex Magesh, revealing Magesh seeks revenge for losing his wife because of Indu. Kadambari instructs Sameer to call Magesh, who then enters.
