Anurag admires Ishani while she studies. Ishani expresses her doubts about the future to him. Anurag’s mother arrives with jewels, explaining that her mother-in-law had given them to her, and she wants to give them to her future daughter-in-law. Ishani asks why she is giving them now. Anurag’s mother says she will give them at the right time and asks Ishani to look at the designs, mentioning she can send them for polishing or buy new ones if Ishani does not like them. Ishani asks why she would not like them when they are given with love.
Meanwhile, Shashwat asks Pihu to open the door. Nandini tells him to wait. Shashwat reflects that Pihu suffered a lot after Suhasini’s death and that he married Ishani for Pihu. He hopes nothing bad has happened. Nandini advises him not to worry. Raj didi asks a neighbor’s servant for help to open the door, and Pihu’s family enters the room. Shashwat notices Pihu’s weak pulse. Nandini spots an empty box of sleeping pills and shows it to Shashwat, who admits he feared this. She calls for an ambulance.
Shashwat splashes water on Pihu’s face, but she does not respond. He recalls that Pihu is emotional. Raj didi says she will call Yash. Shashwat instructs her to tell Yash to come to the hospital and vows not to spare Anurag and Ishani if anything happens to Pihu. He recalls her childhood and urges her to wake up, carrying her to avoid waiting for the ambulance.
Back with Anurag’s mother, she notes that old designs are rare and presents a Banarasi saree for Ishani. Ishani worries that Shashwat may change his decision about the divorce anytime. Anurag reassures her that it will be too late for Shashwat if he refuses a divorce. His mother says their marriage will happen after the divorce.
Shashwat admits Pihu to the hospital and instructs the nurse to call the doctor. Nandini tells him to stay calm. The doctor arrives, and Shashwat explains that Pihu consumed many sleeping pills. The doctor orders that Pihu be taken to the ICU, promising updates after the tests. Shashwat vows not to forgive those responsible, while Raj didi and Nandini try to reassure him that Pihu will be safe. Shashwat angrily mutters that he will kill Ishani if he could.
Anurag’s mother mentions neighbors gossiping about Ishani staying at their house. Ishani explains that’s why she wants to stay elsewhere, and Anurag tells her there is no need. Ishani reflects that everything in her life happened because of fate.
Recap: A police inspector calls Anurag and informs him about Pihu’s suicide attempt. He adds that Pihu’s family has filed a complaint against Anurag and Ishani. Anurag relays this news to Ishani.
