Anurag tells Ishani and Pihu to wait outside while he fills out a form. The nurse asks them to wait, and Pihu starts crying. Ishani comforts her, saying nothing will happen to Shashwat. Pihu thanks Ishani for coming, explaining she cannot handle things alone. Ishani says that even though she ended her relationship with Shashwat, Pihu will always be her daughter. Pihu asks if Ishani is angry with her. Ishani admits she is angry for Pihu attempting suicide.
Pihu accepts she could not handle rejection and acted out of ego, but now understands everything. She also realizes Nandini acted against Ishani to take advantage of Shashwat. Ishani says she is glad there are no misunderstandings between them now.

The doctor arrives and scolds them for bringing Shashwat late. He says Shashwat is in critical condition and that he will discuss surgery after reviewing the test reports.
Later, Ishani goes to the washroom. Pihu apologizes to Anurag, who tells her that realizing her mistake and apologizing is enough. He assures her that Shashwat will be fine. Pihu insists on apologizing until Anurag forgives her wholeheartedly. Anurag tells her that his heart will not soften like Ishani’s and that he cannot forget what Pihu did to him and how his reputation was affected. Pihu accepts she does not deserve forgiveness and feels ashamed for what she did. Anurag tells her he is there only for Ishani, and all his actions are for her. Ishani returns.
The nurse informs the doctor that Shashwat’s pulse is dropping. The doctor gives Shashwat an electric shock. Pihu panics and goes to the hospital temple. She recalls how her family insulted Ishani and realizes that God is punishing them. She prays, admitting her mistakes and pledging that her family will try to become better people. She begs God to save Shashwat, saying she does not want to lose her father.
Dr. Siddharth notices Pihu and offers her a handkerchief. Pihu thanks him and explains Shashwat’s situation. She mistakes him for a medical representative, and he nods. Siddharth asks her name, and Pihu introduces herself. A child informs Siddharth that she will be discharged today, and he gives chocolate to the child. Pihu learns that Siddharth is a doctor. He introduces himself properly and goes inside.
Recap: Ishani tells Anurag that Pihu wants her to stay in the Sengupta house and support her during this difficult time. Anurag says he will not stop her, but reminds her that the Senguptas would not have changed if they had not been betrayed by Nandini.
