Shashwat takes Ishani and Nandini to the police station and introduces himself to the police inspector. Ishani requests the police inspector to take action against Anurag. The police inspector asks what Anurag has done. Shashwat explains the age difference between Pihu and Anurag. He alleges that Anurag trapped Pihu and that Pihu went to meet him without informing the family. Ishani adds that Anurag was a professor at the college where Pihu was studying. She says Pihu stayed at Anurag’s house the previous night. The police inspector observes that it appears Pihu went there willingly and also notes that Pihu is an adult.

Shashwat argues that Anurag should have informed the family about Pihu. Ishani says Anurag had their phone numbers but did not call them and also ignored her calls. The police inspector remarks that Anurag would have contacted them if his intentions were right. Ishani says she is scared because Pihu stayed with Anurag in his house and believes he may have done something wrong with her. Nandini informs the police inspector that Anurag sent a love letter to Ishani.
Shashwat says Pihu’s life may get ruined because she is influenced by Anurag. The police inspector says he will complete the FIR procedure. Ishani again urges him to take action against Anurag. Shashwat says he wants to take Pihu home that day and asks permission to witness Anurag’s arrest. The police inspector replies that he must complete the formalities first.
Nandini states that a person like Anurag does not deserve to be a professor and claims this may not be his first offense. The police inspector explains that the case will go to court and the media may show interest. He adds that this will prevent Anurag from repeating such actions and that the college may also take disciplinary action. Shashwat says he wants Anurag to end up in jail. The police inspector asks for Pihu to undergo a medical checkup and says he will question her alone. Ishani assures him that Pihu will tell the truth. They step outside.
Shashwat informs Pihu that the police are going to arrest Anurag. Pihu accuses Ishani of doing this to separate her from Anurag. Shashwat asks Pihu to understand that Anurag is playing with her emotions. Pihu says Anurag will agree to marry her if Ishani states that she has no objection. Ishani declares that she is ready to say she has no problem with Pihu and Anurag’s marriage. Shashwat then says they should go to the college.
Later, the police inspector goes to the college and meets the principal. He says he has come to meet Professor Anurag. The principal asks the peon to call Anurag. Anurag arrives. The police inspector informs him that he has come to arrest him. Anurag asks what crime he has committed. The police inspector accuses Anurag of trying to have a physical relationship with a girl and refusing to marry her. Anurag denies the allegation.
Shashwat arrives there with his family. Ishani tells everyone that she has no objection to Pihu and Anurag’s marriage. She tells the police inspector that Anurag should accept Pihu, or else he must face punishment. Shashwat adds that Anurag sent a love letter to Ishani, which led to his transfer. Anurag insists that he did nothing wrong.
Precap: The police inspector asks Anurag whether he is ready to marry Pihu. Anurag refuses to marry Pihu.
