Raj didi expresses her worry, asking how they will combat the current situation. Ishani reassures her not to worry and gives hope, saying she will take care of things. Shashwat asks Ishani how she plans to fight against the opponent, mentioning that legal cases require huge amounts of money, in addition to hospital bills. Ishani says they need not worry at all, because she will manage everything and find a way, as this has now become her battle too.

Shashwat is surprised that Ishani considers it her battle despite the injustice they did to her. Ishani says she is standing with the truth. She points out that Nandini believes they have no proof, but they do, and the court always listens to the truth. She requests their support and emphasizes that she is doing this for Pihu as well. Shashwat’s sister says they will definitely support her since she is acting for them. Ishani asks Pihu to accompany her to the police station to lodge a complaint against Nandini, and then they will approach the lawyer. She asks Shashwat’s sister to take care of Shashwat at home.
Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Shashwat’s sister, worried, says she always gets anxious when the bell rings. Pihu opens the door and is overjoyed to see Yash. He comes inside, greeting everyone and hugging his father and Raj didi, asking about their well-being. Since he does not speak to Ishani, she herself asks how he is. Yash misbehaves, questioning why Ishani is in the house, accusing her of running away with her boyfriend long ago. Shashwat asks Yash to behave. Pihu defends Ishani, reminding him she is family and he must behave.
Yash says that many things must have happened while he was away. Pihu explains how Nandini cheated his father and usurped their property. Yash finds it hard to believe that Nandini could do this. He asks about their future and how they will survive. Shashwat takes responsibility, saying it is his fault and apologizes.
Shashwat’s sister asks Yash to contact Ankita’s father for financial and other support, as they will need help. Yash reacts angrily, saying they do not realize what they are asking, and that due to past embarrassments during his wedding, Ankita never wanted to stay here. He also had to go abroad to save his marriage and cannot ask for help now. He suggests that it would be better for them to leave the city to protect his reputation.
Pihu calls this selfish and says she is ashamed to call him her brother. Shashwat tells Yash that he will not involve him negatively in this matter but requests him to stay for the night, since he is uncertain if he will survive the next day.
