Ishani tells Pihu that an innocent person should never be punished. Pihu replies that she will withdraw the complaint only if Anurag agrees to marry her. She reveals that Anurag has admitted he will never love anyone except Ishani.
Ishani explains that she was Anurag’s first love, which is why he has been unable to forget her. She tells Pihu that she can find a good partner elsewhere and should not waste her life chasing Anurag. Ishani asks how Pihu can hurt Anurag if she truly loves him.

Pihu says she can hurt Anurag because he does not love her. She adds that she is willing to accept Anurag’s past, but he rejected her. Ishani firmly tells Pihu that love cannot be forced and that she is simply unable to tolerate rejection.
Pihu taunts Ishani, saying she must feel proud that Anurag still loves her. Ishani replies that if Pihu thinks calmly, she will understand that Anurag did nothing wrong. She reminds Pihu that Anurag could have taken advantage of her if he wanted, but he chose not to. Ishani decides to act on her conscience.
Pihu questions what Ishani can possibly do and reminds her that she herself filed the complaint against Anurag. She warns Ishani not to appear before her again. Ishani agrees and regrets trusting Pihu blindly and filing the complaint. Pihu advises her not to go against the family for Anurag’s sake.
Ishani says she has lost many battles in her life, but she will not allow an innocent man to be punished under any circumstances.
Later, at the police station, a constable gives food to Anurag. Meanwhile, Ishani travels in a car and recalls how she refused to trust him. She reaches Anwesha’s office. Anwesha says she already knows Anurag is innocent and is shocked that Ishani’s family framed him.
Ishani pleads that she is ready to do anything to secure Anurag’s release. Anwesha accuses Ishani of destroying Anurag’s life and sarcastically points out that Ishani was the one who filed the complaint. Ishani breaks down and insists that she wants to save him and restore his reputation.
Anwesha asks why Ishani filed the complaint in the first place. Ishani requests her to listen. Though reluctant, Anwesha finally agrees.
Ishani reveals that she and Anurag were in love in the past. He left India to pursue higher studies abroad, and during that time, her mother forced her into marriage. Unable to contact Anurag, she married Shashwat. When Anurag returned to India, he saw her married but chose not to confront her. Later, she met him again at the college because of Pihu.
Ishani explains that Pihu fell obsessively in love with Anurag. When he rejected her, Pihu falsely accused him to take revenge.
Precap: Pihu accuses Ishani of trying to meet Anurag and declares her hatred. Shashwat throws Ishani out of the house.
