Dadabhai asks whether Jhanak has eaten anything. Indumati says Jhanak keeps crying and refuses food. Tanushri mentions that Kaju and Badam are visiting Jhanak to console her, which may affect their studies. Indumati suggests sending Jhanak to her village after Ganga Snan, given that her mother is no more. Dadabhai notes that Jhanak is in shock. Tanushri comments that Dadabhai is getting too emotional for her.

Putul informs them that Jhanak wants to go to her village and has a slight fever. Tanushri decides Jhanak will stay a few more days. Indumati proposes arranging a private car for her and emphasizes preparing for Aditi and Rishi’s marriage. Tanushri agrees, adding that Rishi and Aditi won’t be at peace if Jhanak stays. Dadabhai insists that Rishi, having taken responsibility for Jhanak, should decide when she will go. Tanushri downplays Jhanak’s distress, saying she is just crying.
Aniruddh arrives and is welcomed by Rishi’s family. Tanushri tells him that Aditi agreed to the marriage, which should happen soon. Aniruddh agrees. Indumati questions why he brought sweets and fruits; he replies they are for Jhanak. Tanushri asks Putul to bring Jhanak. Aniruddh inquires if she will go to her village now, and Tanushri says she will be sent in a few days.
Putul brings Jhanak. Aniruddh recalls Nutan’s letter and wonders if Jhanak is truly his daughter or if Nutan lied. He expresses condolences for Nutan’s death and apologizes to Jhanak. He asks her mother’s name; she replies Nutan. He then asks about her father. Jhanak says she doesn’t know, remarking that she has likely forgotten the one who abandoned her and her mother. She questions why he is asking. Aniruddh explains he wants to help her find her father. Jhanak blames her father for Nutan’s suffering, stating that her mother endured years of pain because of him. She vows to confront her father one day and ask why he caused so much pain.
Later, Anjana asks Aniruddh about Phool’s condition. Bablu doubts she can be in a good state. Anjana questions whether Phool revealed her father’s identity, expressing disbelief that he abandoned both Phool and her mother.
