Aditi informs Jhanak that Nutan died yesterday. Jhanak is devastated, recalling the moments she shared with her mother. She pleads with Aditi not to lie and asks to be sent away. Aditi insists she is telling the truth, explaining that Parashar informed Rishi after performing Nutan’s last rites. Jhanak questions Rishi, who confirms that Aditi is truthful. He explains that Jhanak was undergoing treatment, which is why she wasn’t informed earlier. Jhanak breaks down, lamenting that she couldn’t see her mother one last time and feels she cannot live without her.

Dadabhai consoles Jhanak. Aditi notices Rishi staring at Jhanak and says she is leaving. Rishi offers to drop her. Aditi taunts him, asking if he can accompany her when he is preoccupied with his responsibilities. Tanushri inquires if Aditi is angry. Aditi remarks that Jhanak, whom she refers to as a maid, won’t leave. Dadabhai defends Jhanak, saying she won’t become a maid just because of Aditi’s words. Aditi questions Jhanak’s relationship with the family, and Jhanak tearfully says she is no one and plans to leave.
Later, Arshi asks Aditi what is happening. Aditi explains that Rishi is acting according to his will and reveals Phool’s mother’s death. Aniruddh is shocked and recalls moments with Nutan, regretting not trusting her. Arshi notices his reaction, but Aniruddh dismisses it. Aditi comments that now Phool will receive sympathy from everyone. Arshi questions why Phool is not being sent to Simulboni despite her mother’s death and why she is in Rishi’s house. Aditi admits she does not understand the situation.
Arshi advises Aditi to leave Rishi and his family and learn from the situation. Anjana empathizes with Phool’s loss. Aditi clarifies that she loves Rishi and wants to marry him. She insists that Phool cannot come between them and does not matter to Rishi, who is only concerned about her evading a police case. Arshi asks why Aditi is not marrying Rishi; she says she is planning a court marriage. Arshi points out that a court marriage is complicated because relatives must appear satisfied. Aditi directs them to start preparations. She explains her resentment towards Phool, blaming her for her cancelled marriage, and notes that Phool is not naive.
