Dadabhai tells Jhanak to stay at his house and focus on her studies. Parashar questions Rishi about marrying Aditi when he is already Jhanak’s husband. Jhanak tells Parashar she never accepted her marriage with Rishi and does not wish to live with him, acknowledging that Rishi was already engaged to Aditi. Parashar feels Rishi and his family betrayed her, but Jhanak disagrees and insists they return home.
Dadabhai informs Parashar that since Rishi and Jhanak decided not to stay together, no one can oppose their decision. He stresses his responsibility toward Jhanak and notes that her truth preserved Rishi’s job, not Aniruddh’s influence. He advises that Jhanak should stay in Kolkata for a better future. Putul praises Jhanak’s intelligence and urges Parashar to allow her to remain in the city, but Parashar dismisses the discussion.

Rishi asks Jhanak if she signed the papers willingly, and she confirms. Aniruddh reveals he arranged the papers because Jhanak requested them. Rishi insists he did not sign, while Parashar points out the contradiction: Rishi refuses to accept Jhanak yet wants to take responsibility for her. Mangal comments that Rishi never accepted Jhanak as his wife, which Jhanak reciprocates. Dadabhai advises Parashar to let Jhanak go to Simulboni after achieving her dreams. Putul emphasizes that she is young and should focus on studies. Aditi questions why Dadabhai wants Jhanak to stay.
Rishi warns Aniruddh that forging a signature is a crime. Aniruddh challenges him to prove it in court. Jhanak intervenes, promising to stay with them if they stop arguing and assures Aditi she will leave after joining college. She emphasizes she signed willingly.
Putul remarks to Aniruddh that he sacrificed one daughter’s happiness for another. Jhanak asserts he does not deserve to be her father, praising Parashar as her true father. Aniruddh concedes that Parashar is her father, angering Parashar, who nearly attacks him. Rishi and Dadabhai restrain Parashar, and Jhanak calms him, promising to work hard for a college seat.
Later, in the car, Rishi asks Aditi not to misunderstand him. She admits she understands but feels Rishi is acting unethically. Aditi regrets marrying Rishi, while Rishi stops her, urging her not to ruin her life. She questions why he did not accept his marriage with Jhanak despite caring for her. Rishi tells her to leave if she thinks this way. Aditi cries, and Rishi explains he is being punished despite doing nothing wrong. Aditi admits she erred by marrying him. Rishi reiterates Jhanak helped him greatly, justifying his concern for her studies. Aditi struggles to understand and Rishi asks her to trust him.
Meanwhile, Jhanak questions Dadabhai about his efforts on her behalf. He urges her to trust that everything is for her well-being. Jhanak expresses that she tolerates insults but will not let anyone disrespect Nutan. Dadabhai encourages her to fight for herself, and Putul assures her she will gain respect and love.
Precap: Aditi scolds Jhanak for entering without knocking. Arshi tells Aniruddh she will bring Jhanak to her house from Rishi’s and make her a maid.
