Indumati tells Putul to find a job abroad so they can live peacefully. Putul says she stays there for her father’s sake. Tanushri instructs Jhanak to take care of Aditi’s needs. Jhanak asks what she should do, and Indumati tells her to ask Aditi about breakfast and give her detox water. Neelu instructs Jhanak to make breakfast later. Jhanak leaves with the detox water. Indumati questions why Dadabhai brought Jhanak, and Tanushri says they should keep her busy. Neelu suggests ensuring Jhanak leaves the house.

Meanwhile, Arshi tells Aniruddh that Rishi supported Dadabhai. Aniruddh says he cannot fight Rishi, who is treating Jhanak as his responsibility. Arshi warns Aniruddh that Jhanak could repeat history like Nutan, and she won’t stay silent if Aditi’s life is ruined. Aniruddh says she can do what she wants but should not trouble him. He recalls his moments with Nutan. Arshi doubts Jhanak’s abilities, but Aniruddh defends her as intelligent and successful in school. Arshi decides to bring Jhanak and make her a maid.
Jhanak enters Rishi’s room, seeing Rishi and Aditi sleeping on the floor. She drops the detox water glass. Rishi and Aditi wake up. Aditi scolds Jhanak for entering without knocking, and Rishi tells her she should have knocked. Jhanak explains Indumati asked her to attend to Aditi. Aditi accuses Jhanak of spying. Neelu scolds Jhanak, but Rishi stops the argument since Jhanak apologized.
Later, Rishi apologizes to Jhanak. Jhanak tells him he need not, and she already apologized. She tries to touch his feet, but Rishi stops her. She thought Aditi would wake up, and Rishi would leave for work.
Meanwhile, Choton and Rumi visit Aniruddh’s house. Arshi plans to bring Jhanak there, host an ashta mangal, and make Jhanak do all preparations. Rumi supports her plan; Choton questions making Jhanak a maid, but Arshi insists she already is.
Jhanak tells Rishi not to apologize for Aditi, emphasizing she understands why Aditi was angry. She says this is why she wants to return to Simulboni. Rishi asks if it’s for such a small matter. Jhanak says it’s about her self-respect. Rishi reminds her of people who love her. Jhanak asks who, and Rishi says Dadabhai and Putul, and that he even fought his family for her. Rishi admits he loves Jhanak.
Precap: Arshi tells Rishi’s family that Jhanak can stay in her outhouse to prepare for exams. Rishi asks why Jhanak can’t stay in his house. Aditi questions his problem with the suggestion.
