Ritesh prepares to tend to Indu’s injury. Zoon arrives with a first aid kit, and Ritesh carefully treats her wound. Indu winces in pain, and Zoon cries seeing her discomfort. Vivek smiles at Ritesh’s attentiveness. Once the wound is bandaged, Dolly prompts Ritesh to complete the wedding rituals. Ritesh fills Indu’s hairline with vermilion and places the nupital chain around her neck. The priest announces their marriage complete. Zoon congratulates them, kissing both. Indu performs her Vidai ritual, crying as she hugs her parents. Zoon, Sunita, Asha, and Anjali also shed tears. Ritesh carries Zoon, opens the car door for Indu and Zoon, and mocks Indu for still crying, acknowledging both reasons: marriage and leaving her family. He jokes about the “filmy style” of her tears and asks Zoon to convince Indu not to argue for a day. Sunita expresses joy at her daughter’s marriage, while Asha hopes the couple stops arguing. Anjali praises Ritesh for his care for Indu and Zoon.
The couple reaches the Malhotra mansion. Dolly welcomes them, performs aarti, and asks Indu to perform Grahpravesh. As Indu enters, she is shocked to see Kadambari also performing the ritual, decked as a bride, with Sameer standing beside her. Dolly questions the situation. Sameer announces he is marrying Kadambari on the same day as Ritesh and Indu. Ritesh is furious, sensing a hidden agenda. Sameer defends his actions, arguing that he can also provide a family for Zoon and accuses Ritesh of fooling her.
Kaamna intervenes, explaining that if she accepted Indu as her daughter-in-law, she should also accept Kadambari. She acknowledges that Sameer and Kadambari were in love before marriage, urging acceptance. Ritesh, upset, leaves with Zoon, while Kaamna also departs. Kadambari winks at Indu as she enters the house.
Precap: Kadambari challenges Indu, asserting that now both are equally capable financially and emotionally to provide a family for Zoon. Indu reflects that it will test whether a mother who gave birth or one who raised a child with love will win in the custody case.
