In a touching gesture, Paresh decides to fast for his wife Renuka, praying for her health and long life. His act inspires Akash and Sachin, who also decide to fast for their wives. However, Tejas refuses to participate. He bluntly declares that he cannot stay hungry and has no interest in following such customs.
After the rituals, Renuka lovingly serves food to Riya and Roshni but deliberately ignores Sayali. The partial treatment hurts Sayali, though she hides her emotions behind a forced smile. Quietly, she serves herself some food so that no one notices her disappointment. The moment once again highlights the discrimination she faces within the family.
Later, Tejas informs Renuka and Roshni that his loan application has been rejected. He urgently needs seventy lakh rupees to purchase the luxurious sea facing bungalow he dreams about. Renuka urges him to arrange the money somehow, warning that the opportunity might disappear if he delays. Under pressure, Tejas calls for a family meeting. He asks Paresh for financial support, but Paresh refuses, explaining that arranging such a large amount is impossible.
Desperate, Tejas proposes selling the ancestral Deshmukh house. He argues that if the property is sold, each family member will receive their share and he can use his portion to buy the bungalow. The suggestion shocks everyone. Paresh immediately rejects the idea and reminds him that the house legally belongs to Renuka and that her late father had strictly instructed that it should never be sold.
Turning to Renuka, Tejas pleads for her approval. Before she can respond, Akash and Sachin strongly oppose the proposal, accusing him of prioritizing his ambitions over the family’s emotional attachment. Renuka firmly ends the discussion. She declares that the house is the last memory of her late father and she will never sell it under any circumstances.
With his plan failing, Tejas becomes anxious. Renuka and Roshni suggest that Roshni contact her wealthy father in Dubai for financial help. Pretending to call him, Roshni lies and claims that her father cannot provide the money. Feeling trapped, Tejas decides to approach Mr. Santoshi, hoping that if he includes the bungalow in a business project, the businessman might agree to invest.
At night, the Deshmukh family gathers on the terrace to complete the Karva Chauth ritual after sighting the moon. Each couple shares a tender moment as the husbands present gifts to their wives. Sachin gives Sayali a beautiful pair of anklets and lovingly places them on her feet. She feels deeply cherished and emotional. Later, while sitting together under the stars, they discuss Tejas’ increasingly self centered behavior.
During their quiet moment, Sachin receives a surprising phone call from Isha, Tejas’ former girlfriend. She requests him to meet her at the airport the next morning. Curious and concerned, Sachin promises that he will be there.
