Indu pleads with Ritesh to stop for Zoon’s sake. Ritesh finally lets go. Sameer warns him before leaving with Kadambari. Later, Kadambari and Sameer show Ritesh’s medical treatment papers to Kalpana, who assures them that these documents will help them win Zoon’s custody. Kadambari pays Kalpana double the agreed amount, making her happy.
Meanwhile, Ritesh drops Indu at her house. Indu advises him to control his anger even if Sameer and Kadambari provoke him. Ritesh mocks her and says he does not need her lectures about handling his family. Indu becomes angry and says she does not need his advice about taking care of Zoon either. Their argument ends with Ritesh leaving angrily. Both look upset as they part ways.
The next morning, Sunita performs her daily prayer ritual while Rajender and Zoon sit in the living room. Indu tells Zoon she is going to court and will return in the evening. Vivek arrives to take Indu to the hearing. Rajender explains Sunita’s ritual of opening the Bhagavad Gita and reading a line as guidance for the day. Sunita asks Zoon to open the page, and the verse suggests that people receive what they deserve in time. The family hopes the verdict will favor Indu.
Ritesh arrives and apologizes to Zoon for scaring her earlier. He asks her to punish him but not stay angry. Zoon apologizes too and says Indu told her parents correct children when they make mistakes. They hug, and the Raina family feels relieved.
Elsewhere, Kaamna wishes Sameer and Kadambari good luck. Kadambari confidently says she will win the custody case. Sameer reveals they have a backup plan and need Kaamna’s help, which she agrees to provide since all three will benefit from it.
At court, Ritesh and Indu arrive, followed by Sameer and Kadambari. Swati greets them and congratulates Ritesh and Indu on their marriage. Kadambari announces that she also married Sameer, explaining it was for Zoon’s stability and fatherly support. Sameer claims he promised to love and protect Zoon during the wedding vows.
Suddenly, Kadambari claims she wants to withdraw the custody case because Zoon is suffering. Everyone is confused. She then alleges that Ritesh hit Zoon, shocking the court. Swati questions Ritesh. Indu tries to defend him, but Swati asks her to stay silent. Ritesh admits he pushed Zoon but explains he did it to save Shakuntala when she was choking. Swati scolds him, saying it is an adult’s responsibility to guide children properly. Sameer and Kadambari feel satisfied with the situation.
Meanwhile, Kaamna meets the commissioner and collects a prison file, thinking that Ritesh and Indu have no idea about the trouble coming their way.
Precap: Swati questions Ritesh about undergoing anger management treatment. Ritesh admits it is true, shocking Indu. Swati then asks Indu if she knew about it before marriage, leaving Ritesh worried and Indu helpless.
