Kalpana submits Ritesh’s treatment papers as proof of his anger issues. Swati questions Ritesh, asking if he had undergone treatment for anger problems. Ritesh admits it is true, shocking Indu. He explains that after his father’s death and his mother Shakuntala’s paralysis, he blamed himself and struggled emotionally as a child. His teachers suggested counseling, which he attended years ago. Ritesh insists that Kadambari and Sameer are using his past to manipulate the case.
Swati then questions Indu, asking if she knew about Ritesh’s anger issues before marrying him. Indu hesitates but lies that she already knew. Her statement shocks everyone, especially Ritesh. Swati scolds Indu, accusing her of risking Zoon’s safety for the sake of winning custody.
Kalpana argues that Indu is not Zoon’s biological mother and only wants to win the case, while Kadambari, being the real mother, is willing to withdraw the case to protect her child. Ritesh becomes furious and defends Indu, saying she has raised Zoon for six years with love and care like her own daughter. He also accuses Kalpana of supporting Kadambari for money.
Swati demands an apology from Ritesh, but Sameer provokes him further by bringing up Ritesh’s painful childhood and guilt over his parents’ accident. Ritesh loses control and grabs Sameer by the neck. The people present struggle to separate them.
Swati scolds Ritesh and postpones the hearing until the next day. Ritesh tries to explain himself, but Swati refuses to listen. Later, Meghna questions Indu for lying in court, warning her that such lies could backfire.
At home, Indu confronts Ritesh about hiding his anger issues. Ritesh explains that counseling was common during school and happened long ago. He insists he is not violent but only stands up for what is right. Indu urges him not to fall for Sameer’s provocations, but they argue again. Kadambari overhears and mocks them before leaving.
Later, Ritesh and Indu visit Shakuntala’s room. Zoon apologizes to Shakuntala for feeding her the laddu and promises to be careful. She gently feeds her halwa with a small spoon. Ritesh praises her and promises that she will soon stay with them again. Indu becomes emotional seeing their bond.
The next day, Kadambari tells Sameer that once they gain control over the property worth thousands of crores, they will buy an even bigger house. Sameer receives a call from Kaamna, signaling that their next plan is ready.
In court again, Ritesh apologizes for his behavior. Indu asks permission to speak and describes the strong bond between Ritesh and Zoon, praising him for caring for her like a father. Sameer and Kadambari watch with mocking smiles. Suddenly, someone enters the courtroom clapping, leaving Ritesh and Indu confused.
