Aniruddh tells Bablu that revealing the truth to Aditi was unnecessary. Bablu firmly responds that Aditi deserved to know everything and admits that he had already told the truth to Jhanak as well. He adds that Aniruddh can throw him out of the house if he wants.
Aditi, deeply hurt, questions her parents about how they could do this to her. Arshi scolds Bablu for telling only half the truth and urges Aditi to listen to her side. She clarifies that Aditi is indeed her and Aniruddh’s daughter. She explains what the doctor had said and how Aniruddh brought Aditi back from Simulboni.

Aniruddh admits they cannot change the lost five years but insists they gave their best to Aditi afterward. He apologizes for hiding the truth. Despite this, Aditi refuses to forgive them. Arshi breaks down, calling Aditi her daughter, but Aditi runs away. Arshi, in frustration, tells Bablu that he must be satisfied now.
On the other side, Dadabhai tells Indumati that Putul wants to remain dependent. Indumati reflects that things might have been different if their children’s lives had been stable, adding that even Rishi has faced many struggles. She blames Jhanak for bringing trouble into Rishi’s life and fears his problems may never end.
Dadabhai counters her argument, saying they should not have mistreated Jhanak, especially after knowing the truth about her marriage and recalling what Putul went through. He acknowledges that Parashar and Nutan raised Jhanak well.
Indumati insists the household lost its peace because of Jhanak. Dadabhai disagrees, pointing out that they had no issues with Jhanak when she first arrived. When Indumati questions Jhanak applying vermilion and following Rishi, Dadabhai states that marriage remains valid, even if forced, and emphasizes that Jhanak never demanded anything from Rishi. He reassures Indumati about the future, expressing hope that their son will return and Putul will find happiness.
The next day, Tanushri informs Abhimanyu that Mishti is preparing for her exams. Abhimanyu encourages Tanushri to resume her career, reminding her that she once gave up her ambitions for the family. He urges her not to suppress her dreams any longer.
Tanushri hesitates, doubting her ability to restart at this stage of life and worrying about societal judgment. Abhimanyu firmly tells her that no one has the right to question her choices and asks her to focus on herself.
Elsewhere, Payal asks her children about their homework. Kaju says they plan to go out with Putul and will complete it later. Payal objects, saying Putul did not inform her. Surjeet defends Putul, calling her responsible and asking Payal not to judge her personal life.
Putul overhears the conversation and clarifies that the plan was made just now. She came to seek permission and even offers to cancel the outing. Rishi arrives and, after hearing everything, supports the idea of the children going out with Putul.
Surjeet agrees, noting that the tense atmosphere at home is affecting the children. Rishi, however, misinterprets this as a criticism and says Jhanak will soon leave the house. He adds that they should feel proud of her. Surjeet responds that he is proud of Mishti and sees no reason to feel the same about Jhanak, whom he considers a stranger.
Eventually, the children come ready, and Payal allows them to go out with Putul.
Later, Tanushri shares her doubts with Abhimanyu, questioning whether Rishi might be right about Jhanak’s real identity. Abhimanyu finds it hard to believe that Aniruddh would lie, while Tanushri wonders why Nutan would take Aniruddh’s name if there were no truth to it. She then changes the topic, and Abhimanyu again urges her to reconsider working.
Precap: Aditi gives Rishi an ultimatum, either end their relationship or send Jhanak away. Rishi responds that it is her choice whether to trust him or not.
