Rishi waits outside the exam center for Jhanak. When Jhanak comes out and sees him, an emotional moment unfolds between them. Rishi asks how her exam went, but Jhanak questions why he is there. Rishi explains that he came to pick her up since he dropped her earlier.
Jhanak becomes uneasy and tells him that his actions always put her in trouble. She reminds him that Aditi does not like it when he does things for her and urges him to respect his wife’s feelings. Rishi ignores the concern and asks her to sit on the bike, saying they should go out to eat.

Jhanak refuses and tells him to spend his time and money on Aditi instead. Rishi then reveals that he brought something for her. He shows her a vermilion box, saying she likes to apply it.
This shocks Jhanak. She questions his intentions and asks what right she has to apply vermilion. She reminds him of the incident at Aniruddh’s house and admits she made a mistake by applying it that day.
Rishi, frustrated, says he will throw the vermilion away since she does not need it. As he attempts to throw it, Jhanak quickly stops him. She explains that vermilion should not be disrespected like that.
Rishi insists he bought it for her, but since she refuses, he does not know what to do with it. Jhanak finally agrees to keep it but questions why he is giving it to her and what their relationship actually is. Rishi avoids a direct answer, simply saying she liked it.
Jhanak firmly states that her preferences should not matter to him. Despite the tension, she eventually agrees to go with him.
During their conversation, Jhanak acknowledges that Rishi promised Nutan to take responsibility for her. She tells him he has already done enough and should now focus on keeping Aditi happy as his wife.
Rishi, however, questions what about her life. Jhanak confidently responds that she will manage on her own. She reveals her ambition to become a doctor and serve the people of Simulboni. She gets on the bike, and as Rishi starts it suddenly, she holds him for balance. They share a brief eye contact, highlighting their emotional conflict.
On the other side, Neelu notices Aditi’s sadness and questions her. Tanushri also asks what is wrong, but Aditi insists everything is fine.
Neelu informs Aditi that Rishi dropped Jhanak at the exam center and asks whether he told her about it. Aditi admits she had no idea.
Tanushri then says Jhanak will leave for Simulboni in two days since her exams are over and may stay in a hostel if she gets admission. Aditi, however, believes Rishi will keep Jhanak in their house. Neelu agrees, which frustrates Aditi, who refuses to continue the discussion.
Tanushri criticizes Rishi, saying she already warned him not to get involved in Jhanak’s life and accuses Jhanak of taking advantage of his kindness. Neelu suggests that Rishi might have gone to pick Jhanak up.
Soon, Rishi returns home with Jhanak. Aditi sarcastically remarks that Rishi is now fulfilling Jhanak’s duties. Rishi calmly explains that he simply picked her up because he dropped her earlier.
The situation escalates quickly. Aditi lashes out at Jhanak, accusing her of not leaving the house until she destroys her life. Tanushri harshly insults Jhanak, calling her shameless and questioning her behavior. Indumati adds that Jhanak pretends to be weak to manipulate Rishi.
Jhanak defends herself, stating she never asked Rishi for help and requests Aditi not to misunderstand. Aditi angrily tells her not to speak to her.
Rishi tries to calm everyone, saying it is a normal situation and he is tired of constant arguments. Aditi dismisses him and walks away in anger.
The elders continue confronting Rishi. Tanushri accuses him of ruining his marriage, while Indumati questions why he is hurting Aditi despite loving her. Neelu justifies Aditi’s possessiveness and questions Rishi’s changing behavior.
Amid all this, Jhanak quietly tells Rishi that she is not his responsibility.
Overwhelmed, Rishi walks upstairs. Tanushri then demands to know when Jhanak will leave the house now that her exams are over.
Jhanak calmly replies that she will leave the next day and plans to stay in a hostel after securing college admission.
Precap: Aditi declares that everything is over and cuts her wrist, signaling a shocking and dangerous turn in the story.
