Mala thinks she should help Shaoli. She claims Shaoli’s leg seems broken. Shaoli realizes her shoulder has started burning and quickly covers it with her saree pallu. She lies to Surjo, saying her leg hurts and asks him to take her to the room because she is not in a condition to perform the puja. Surjo decides to take her upstairs. Noyontara stops him and says he is interfering in the puja. She warns that it will be an abshagun if Shaoli leaves without performing the puja.

Shaoli again asks Surjo to take her away. Noyontara and Mohor force Shaoli to move closer to the Maa Durga idol. Shaoli thinks she cannot let her soul come out because Noyontara will win if that happens. Noyontara, confident of victory, chants “Durga Maa ki jai.” Surjo tells Noyontara that Shaoli will not be able to do this. Noyontara replies that Shaoli only needs to perform Astra Daan. She takes the Astra and approaches Shaoli, telling her to either hold it and get burned or reveal her real form.
Frightened, Shaoli begs Noyontara to stop. Surjo suggests taking Shaoli to the hospital, but Noyontara refuses. Realizing she cannot escape the situation, Shaoli suddenly stands and runs away. Everyone notices the burning mark on her shoulder. Surjo wonders how she can run when she claimed her leg was broken.
Shaoli locks herself in a room and starts breaking things in anger. She questions how she had to run away despite pretending her leg was broken.
Meanwhile, Mala tries to defend Shaoli, but Noyontara glares at her and warns that her turn is next. Noyontara orders Mala to bring a magnet from Somraj’s room. Mala returns with the magnet. Mohor asks why it is needed. Noyontara explains she will not allow Maa Durga to wear duplicate jewels and intends to expose the person who replaced them. Using the magnet, she proves that the jewels present there are fake. She grabs the Astra and declares she will behead the thief. As she runs toward Mala, Mala confesses that Shaoli instructed her to exchange the jewels.
Surjo is shocked by the revelation and decides to confront Shaoli. Noyontara tells him the focus should remain on the puja. She asks Shashodar to perform Chakshudaan first. Shashodar instead asks Noyontara and Surjo to perform it together. Noyontara sends Mohor and Mala to bring the real jewels and then approaches the Maa Durga idol with Surjo. Together they perform Chakshudaan.
Elsewhere, Shaoli worries about what she will tell Surjo, realizing she cannot escape. Mala arrives and apologizes, admitting she accepted duplicate jewels and swapped them on Shaoli’s instructions. Furious, Shaoli strangles Mala for betraying her. Mala pleads for mercy and cries for help from the ghost. Suddenly, Shaoli gets an idea and begins to laugh.
