At the dining table, Harshavardhan asks UV to join for dinner. Ambika taunts that they should eat before he leaves, questioning what Katha plans to do after his departure. UV clarifies that Katha has decided to stay. Ambika suggests a mutual divorce would be better. Katha says it is UV’s decision, but UV corrects her, stating it is her choice.
Later, Naina notices Katha writing in her diary after a long time and asks what is troubling her. Katha reveals that before UV leaves for Singapore, she wants to prove that his mother never chose ambition over family. She recalls a tea vendor mentioning that Gayatri had not stepped out of the house for ten days. Suddenly, the vendor calls to inform her that Gayatri has finally left the house with Arjun. Katha asks him to follow them.
Katha reaches the police station and overhears Arjun instructing Gayatri to help him take revenge on the Jindal family, threatening that they will suffer otherwise. To protect the family, Gayatri reluctantly agrees.
Back home, UV’s cousins urge him not to move to Singapore, but he insists it is necessary and requests a cheerful farewell. He then meets Katha, wishing her well. He says they are not strangers and can remain in touch, but they must move forward. He mentions arranging a mutual divorce through a lawyer so she can be free. Katha agrees calmly.
Suddenly, the police arrive at the Jindal house and ask for Harshavardhan. The inspector informs him that a domestic violence complaint has been filed against him by his daughter in law, Katha. She immediately denies filing any complaint. Gayatri enters and tells Katha not to hide the truth. On a call, Arjun instructs Gayatri to execute the plan. Gayatri claims that Katha herself told her about being thrown out of the room and fearing for her life.
The inspector presents a video that appears to show Katha lodging the complaint. She insists the woman in the video is not her. Harshavardhan questions why she would seek revenge and accuses Gayatri of being malicious. Despite Katha’s pleas, the police arrest Harshavardhan and take him away.
UV contacts his lawyer immediately. Ambika pressures him to divorce Katha. Gayatri adds that Katha will demand 20 crores as settlement and use it to fund her dream business. Ambika urges UV to see Katha’s true intentions and throw her out. Enraged, UV drags Katha to the room. She injures her hand while resisting and continues to insist she is innocent. In a surprising turn, UV quietly tells her that he knows she is being framed.
Precap. UV and Katha join forces to outsmart Ambika and Arjun.
