Jhanak determined to guard the house. She prays to God to send the city thief soon. When the doorbell rings, she thinks her wish has come true. Anirudh asks her to open the door. She asks who he is, and he asks her the same. Jhanak introduces herself as Phooldevi and finally opens the door. They stare at each other for a moment, sensing a strange connection. Anirudh again asks her identity, but she refuses to reveal anything.
Seeing the sweet box in his hand, Jhanak concludes he is bribing her so he can steal things from the house. Anirudh denies being a thief, but after noticing the stick in her hand, he decides it’s safer to leave. Jhanak orders him to sit on a chair, close his eyes, and she ties him up. Anirudh protests, but she silences him and even ties his mouth. She tastes the sweets, calling them delicious but not as good as her village sweets. Anirudh wonders why he is scared of such a tiny girl.
Jhanak then takes two of Dadabhai’s sleeping pills and warns Anirudh not to act smart. She sits opposite him but quickly dozes off. Anirudh struggles to free himself.
Elsewhere, Rishi surprises Aditi outside her college with flowers and an engagement ring. He slips the ring on her finger, and she teases him for being unromantic. Rishi says this is romance for him, and they share a smile.
At home, Putul arrives and rings the bell repeatedly. Getting no response, she calls her father. Dadabhai comes, and Putul tells him Jhanak isn’t opening the door. Surjeet suggests breaking it and phones Rishi. Abhimanyu tells Rishi to come home immediately but doesn’t explain why. Rishi worries Jhanak must have revealed the truth to the family.
Rishi rushes home and breaks the door. Inside, they find Anirudh tied up and Jhanak unconscious. Rishi unties Anirudh while Indumati asks who did this. Tanushri checks Jhanak, confused about what happened. Dadabhai apologises to Anirudh.
Anirudh explains that Jhanak mistook him for a thief and tied him up. He calls her a sweet girl and tells them not to scold her. Dadabhai informs him that Jhanak is their maid from the village. Anirudh defends her, saying she did nothing wrong. Surjeet checks Jhanak and says she is fine. Tanushri splashes water on her face, and Jhanak wakes up, revealing she took Dadabhai’s sleeping pills. Anirudh tells her he isn’t a thief but Aditi’s father. Jhanak is shocked and apologises. Anirudh smiles at her innocence.
Elsewhere, Pihu visits Ishani and hugs her tightly. Pihu cries and apologises, begging Ishani to return home. She reveals what Jeet did to her. Ishani consoles her, telling her not to blame herself. Pihu says Ishani never did anything wrong and promises to support her from now on. Ishani refuses to return to Shashvat House but says Pihu can visit her anytime. Pihu hugs her again, calling her her favourite.
Precap: Rishi tells Jhanak to go back to her village. Dadabhai reminds her she could have died, and Jhanak replies that it would have been better.
