Rishi confronts Jhanak, claiming that he knows her act in front of Dadabhai was just a ploy to continue her studies so she could take him to her village. Jhanak insists that he has misunderstood her intentions. Rishi questions how Dadabhai discovered her academic talent. Jhanak explains that she reads English newspaper headlines, showcasing her abilities. Rishi responds that while Jhanak may fool his family, she cannot deceive him, accusing her of wanting to use him again. Jhanak asks whether it’s wrong to study, but Rishi says he shouldn’t have brought her into his home and accuses her of manipulating his family.
Jhanak pleads with him to stop speaking harshly, but Rishi insists he is telling the truth, claiming he knows her “real face.” Jhanak expresses her displeasure, and Rishi warns that he could expose the truth and throw her out of the house. Jhanak challenges him to do so immediately. Rishi accuses her of taking advantage of the situation, and Jhanak promises to stop her studies if it truly bothers him.
Rishi tells her that Dadabhai won’t change his mind and instructs her to speak with her villagers about their separation. He says he is willing to provide alimony but wants to end their relationship at any cost. Tearfully, Jhanak agrees to consult her villagers, and Rishi leaves, thinking that his life has been ruined by Jhanak’s presence.
Meanwhile, Arshi advises Aditi not to let Rishi visit Simulboni, urging her to trust her judgment. Later, Aditi asks Aniruddh why Arshi said that, but he dismisses the matter and suggests finalizing the outfits. Aditi remains curious and worried about what happened in Simulboni.
The next day, Jhanak dreams about her village deity and believes that it wishes to stay with her. Indumati informs Payal that they need to shop for the Aashirvad ceremony. Tanushri questions the need for more gifts, but Indumati insists on buying additional presents and sweets. Tanushri defers to her judgment. Indumati asks about Jhanak, and Tanushri says she saw her carrying a bucket and broom.
Jhanak appears holding a stone. Indumati questions her, and Jhanak explains that it’s not just a stone but her village deity, which appeared in her dream. She apologizes to the deity on behalf of Rishi’s family and says they should be grateful that it chose to reside in their house. Tanushri asks where they should place it, and Jhanak suggests keeping it in the yard.
Meanwhile, Rishi arrives at Aditi’s house, where she introduces Anjana and Bablu. Rishi takes their blessings, and they inquire about his work and love life.
Precap: Arshi tells Rishi she can recommend him for a promotion, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Jhanak serves drinks to Rishi’s female relatives, who begin behaving unusually after drinking them.
