Jhanak explained that she made Dadabhai quit snuff because she was concerned about his health. She adds that she had thought of herself as part of the family, but realizes she was wrong. Tearfully, she apologizes for overstepping her limits. Dadabhai comforts her, asking why she is crying when he hasn’t scolded her. He remarks that he calls Jhanak “Beti,” yet she never calls him “Papa.” Jhanak hugs him and continues to cry. Indumati reassures her that it was all in jest, while Abhimanyu comments that Dadabhai loves Jhanak the most in the household. Dadabhai tells Jhanak not to make him feel guilty with her tears. He hands the snuffbox to Abhimanyu to dispose of it and hugs Jhanak, declaring that she has won.

Meanwhile, Arshi questions Aniruddh about the village where he met Jhanak. Aniruddh says it happened many years ago, but Arshi presses him, explaining that it’s important for Aditi’s future. Aniruddh asks her to move on, but Arshi insists on knowing the village name. Finally, Aniruddh recalls that he met Jhanak in Simulboni.

Later, Dadabhai gives Jhanak a test. After checking her answers, he praises her and informs Indumati and Tanushri that Jhanak performed exceptionally well. Tanushri inquires about Jhanak’s 10th standard marks, and Jhanak proudly reveals she scored 94%. Dadabhai encourages her to continue her studies. Tanushri reads Jhanak’s essay and learns that she aspires to become a police officer, jokingly commenting that Jhanak wants to be both a “goon and a police officer.”

Meanwhile, Aditi informs Bablu and Anjana that they are not accepting her gifts. Bablu tells her she doesn’t need expensive presents and advises her to save money for her future. Aditi then speaks to Aniruddh about the situation, but he avoids answering. Arshi insists that Aditi deserves to know the truth. When asked which village Rishi visited, Aditi confirms it was Simulboni.

Back home, Rishi comes downstairs as Dadabhai shares Jhanak’s academic achievements: 94% in 10th standard and an excellent essay in English. Rishi says he has work and cannot stay. Dadabhai requests that Rishi take Jhanak to her village at least once. Rishi refuses, and Indumati suggests she should go there to continue her studies. Rishi argues it’s not his responsibility, so Dadabhai takes charge, promising to escort Jhanak for her studies. Jhanak offers to go alone to fill out forms and bring her books. Rishi tells the family that he will take her to her village and leave from there. Indumati and Tanushri note Rishi’s unusual behavior toward Jhanak, expressing their doubts.
