Banni refuses to marry Yuvan. She gets up from the wedding mandap, breaks the garland, and says she is a businesswoman who came only as Yuvan’s friend. She tells Manini that as a woman, she failed to understand another woman. She questions why she cannot simply help Yuvan as a friend, why women are always blamed, judged, or framed, and why they cannot live a normal life without being targeted. She says she wants the best for Yuvan as a friend, but she cannot marry him.
Yuvan insists that he already applied sindoor and considers her his wife. He hugs her, declaring that they are now married. Banni pushes him away and says her customers barely escaped death because of the previous chaos, and she cannot allow such incidents to happen again. She hands Yuvan’s medical report to Devraj, saying it is now his responsibility to uncover the truth. She tells them she can no longer help Yuvan and must leave. She drives off on her scooty while Yuvan begs her not to go. Viraj and Viren try to restrain Yuvan.
As Banni comes out of Yuvan’s house, Vishnu notices the sindoor in her hairline and is shocked. He asks what happened. Inside, Hemant tries to calm Yuvan. Manini tells him that since Banni refused to marry him, he should marry Niyati instead. Niyati tells Manini she took a big risk; what if Banni had agreed to the marriage? Manini replies that she always thinks her moves through. She explains that Devraj and Myra took Yuvan’s proposal to Banni, and Banni rejected it because she is independent and would never compromise her dignity. Some risks are necessary.
Hemant then makes Yuvan sit in the mandap with Niyati. Devraj tells Sulekha that Hemant cannot see his wife’s wickedness, but he can, and he will not allow this marriage to happen.
Vishnu urges Banni to explain what happened at Yuvan’s house. Banni asks him to give her some space and walks away. Panditji begins the rituals. Yuvan, recalling Banni refusing to marry him, starts performing the pheras with Niyati.
Suddenly, Devraj brings in musicians who begin playing loud music. Yuvan suffers a panic attack. Manini and Viraj rush to stop the musicians. Nearby, a young girl sells prasad to Banni, telling her God will protect her husband. From the first floor, more musicians start playing, causing Yuvan to panic again. Myra increases the havan fire. Yuvan, remembering his mother’s death, loses control.
Devraj tells Sulekha and Myra that he had no choice but to cause this emotional trigger to expose Manini’s evil moves. He leaves the house, instructing them to look after Yuvan until he returns. Yuvan eventually collapses, and Manini realizes Devraj has successfully delayed the wedding.
Banni reaches the temple, followed closely by Devraj. Banni vents her frustration, saying Yuvan was wrong. She agrees that sindoor completes a marriage, but both partners must willingly accept it. Yuvan, she says, does not understand the meaning of marriage, wife, or relationships. Devraj tells her that Yuvan only knows who his true friend is—and that a good wife is always a husband’s first true friend.
Precap: Devraj urges Banni to elope with Yuvan. Banni and Yuvan are seen eloping on a horse.
