Banni asks Devraj if he truly expects two friends to become husband and wife. Devraj replies that he only wants their beautiful friendship to remain intact. Banni explains that while they are good friends, this is about her entire future. She does not want to marry now; she wants to grow her catering business and bring honour to her mother’s name. She says that if she ever marries, it will be to someone who supports her dreams, which is why she cannot consider Yuvan as anything more than a friend and does not acknowledge their supposed marriage. She walks away while Devraj stands determined to convince her to accept her marriage to Yuvan.
Banni takes a bath in the river to release her frustration and screams out loud to vent her emotions. When she steps out of the water, she accidentally steps on a coconut shell, injuring her foot. Devraj sees everything quietly from a distance.
The doctor checks the unconscious Yuvan and tells the family that he is still deeply traumatized. Manini asks when he will regain consciousness, but the doctor says he cannot predict it yet. Viraj impatiently asks when Yuvan will wake up and get married. Hemant scolds him and asks the doctor if they should shift Yuvan to the hospital. Manini, meanwhile, thinks that Banni and Devraj ruined the wedding and decides she must find another way to convince the family to proceed with the marriage.
Devraj returns home. Hemant confronts him for creating a scene and stopping Yuvan’s marriage, blaming him for Yuvan’s current condition. He says he will never forgive Devraj. Viren also lashes out at him.
Devraj replies that his grandson is dearer to him than his own sons and asks how they could accuse him so easily. He says a grandfather who lives only for his grandson can go to any extent to protect him from a bigger disaster. He declares that he will not allow this marriage to happen under any circumstances. Manini claims the real issue is that she chose Niyati for Yuvan. Devraj says they both know the truth—Hemant may trust Manini, but he never will. He insists that Banni will always protect Yuvan, and whether Manini pretends to be Banni’s mother or not, Banni will always honour her bond of friendship with him. He reminds Manini that she played her games during Mahashivratri, and he played his during the wedding. Manini thinks to herself that Devraj’s confidence will end tomorrow and she will defeat him.
Banni prepares tiffins for her customers and feels sad that she can no longer deliver food to Yuvan. Vishnu tells her it is better this way; otherwise, she might have lost other clients because of Yuvan. Devi says Yuvan has always been her true friend—he protected her dignity, he is innocent, and she will always worry about him. Banni says her complete focus now will be on expanding her catering business.
As Devraj drives toward Banni’s house, he prays for guidance. Myra calls him and informs him that Hemant and Manini have taken Yuvan for a court marriage with Niyati. Just then, Yuvan reaches Banni, and she is shocked and worried to see him in that state.
Precap: Devraj urges Banni to elope with Yuvan. Banni rides away on a horse with Yuvan in front of Manini and the rest of the family.
