Rahul asks Ritesh to change his shirt. Ritesh jokingly asks the audience for their opinion, and when they agree, he removes his shirt and washes his face in front of everyone. Meanwhile, Indu walks away from the office, thinking about her moments with the baby.
She suddenly stops when she hears Ritesh’s famous film dialogue. Ritesh says it isn’t the baby’s fault — all the baby wants is love, but even that is being denied to her. He adds that when the baby is held, she believes that person is her mother. He questions whether leaving the baby alone is truly the right decision. He says if she has doubts, she should look into the baby’s eyes; they will tell her the truth about her importance.
Ritesh further says that God’s plan is mysterious — He knows that she and the baby need each other. If she leaves the baby now, she will regret it for the rest of her life. The director praises Rahul’s performance, unaware that the words have deeply affected Indu. Determined, Indu decides to return to the office to get the baby.
On her way, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Ritesh. Ritesh is mesmerised seeing her, while Indu simply thanks him and walks away. His assistant asks who she is, and Ritesh admits he doesn’t know, but she feels special, as though he has met her before. The assistant points out that the girl must have dropped something. Ritesh looks confused until he notices Indu’s earring stuck to his shirt. He picks it up and remembers the girl he helped in the rain — the one wearing the same earring.
Indu reaches the office, finds the baby, and holds her close. Rajender arrives and asks what she’s doing. Indu breaks down, saying they cannot abandon the baby like this. The bus driver appears and hands her Kadambari’s letter, saying she overlooked it earlier.
Indu reads the letter, in which Kadambari explains that she doesn’t want the baby because the child reminds her of her painful past. She tells Indu to leave the baby at a temple or an orphanage. She apologises for the trouble and thanks Indu for helping her. Horrified, Indu asks Rajender how a woman can leave her own newborn child like this.
At the Raina house, Anjali complains about Sunita’s breakfast and thanks Vivek for bringing her favourite food. Vivek asks Sunita if Indu has contacted her, but Sunita says no and remains worried. When the doorbell rings, Sunita opens it and is stunned to see Indu, Rajender, and the baby standing there. Shocked, she drops the spoon from her hand.
Rajender explains everything, including why Indu decided to bring the baby home. He takes Indu to her room and asks Vivek not to tell anyone what happened. Vivek agrees.
Sunita lashes out at Rajender for supporting Indu’s decision. She says she doesn’t want the baby in their house and fears this will affect Indu’s marriage prospects.
In her room, Anjali tells Indu that if she had been there, she wouldn’t have spared Mahesh for what he did. When Indu goes to get milk for the baby, the baby starts crying, so she picks her up and comforts her. Anjali smiles and says Indu already behaves like the baby’s real mother.
Meanwhile, Ritesh looks at Indu’s earring and smiles to himself. He then plays an indoor game with Rahul and wins. Later, he asks Rahul about the next day’s schedule and goes to the balcony. Rahul returns to report the full schedule, but stops when he hears Ritesh talking to the sky, telling his late father, the brightest star, about his life. Rahul thinks no one would imagine that a Bollywood star like Ritesh is longing for love, and believes there is no one as lonely as him.
At the same time, Indu looks at an old photo of herself with Mahesh, then continues taking care of the baby. From a distance, Sunita watches and feels her daughter’s pain. She thinks no one in the world must feel as alone as Indu does right now and silently asks God for help.
Precap: Indu takes the baby to the doctor, with Vivek accompanying her. She gives her name as the baby’s mother, shocking him. At the hospital, Ritesh is determined to find Indu. Someone places a hand on her shoulder, and she turns around, shocked to see the person.
