Back at home, Sunita anxiously waits for a call. Vivek tries to calm her, but she snaps at him. Anjali also tells her to relax, but Sunita insists she can feel something is wrong.
To distract her, Anjali suggests watching Ritesh’s new film, but Sunita scolds her, making Anjali walk away upset. Vivek reassures Sunita that everything will be alright.
At the hospital, Indu steps into the treatment room and questions the doctor about Rajender’s condition. The doctor says that even in this state, Rajender is worried only about her. When asked how he got injured, Rajender lied that he slipped on the steps.
Indu remembers the truth — Mahesh had beaten him.
The doctor, unconvinced, says the injuries aren’t from a simple fall. He recommends an MRI and X-rays to check for internal damage.
Indu goes to the reception to pay. Sunita calls, upset that Indu didn’t update her. Indu lies, claiming they received a warm welcome at Mahesh’s house and everyone enjoyed Sunita’s laddus. The receptionist overhears and looks shocked.
Vivek takes the phone from Sunita and teases Indu, but she breaks down, telling him nothing is fine. She promises to explain once she gets home and asks him to take care of Sunita.
When Vivek says he’ll speak to Mahesh, Indu says bitterly that Mahesh is dead to her and ends the call.
Sunita, however, senses something is wrong.
Indu sees the engagement ring, then hands Rajender’s reports to a ward boy, asking him to give them to the doctor.
Meanwhile, Ritesh arrives at Mahesh and Mansi’s house. Mansi, his childhood friend, teases him, saying she knew him long before he became a superstar. Rahul joins them, and the trio shares playful banter.
Later, Mansi, Rahul, and Ritesh sit with Mahesh for drinks. Mansi and Rahul recall how almost every girl in college proposed to Ritesh, but he refused them all because he wanted someone who values Indian culture and truly loves him.
Ritesh admits that back then girls liked him for his wealth, and now women chase him for his stardom. If he loses everything, they’ll leave — so he wants real love. Rahul jokes that if he thinks like that, he’ll never get married. Mansi laughs that God will send his special girl in a courier package.
Suddenly, they hear Indu outside arguing with security. Ritesh jokes that maybe God has sent his girl already. Indu angrily calls Mahesh’s name.
Mansi, shocked to see her, asks what happened. Indu says she isn’t here for Mansi, but for her husband. She taunts Mahesh, saying he still hides behind women like always.
Mahesh arrogantly says her taunts don’t affect him. Indu fires back, saying he beat the very man she respected like a father — and he mocked her feelings too.
Mahesh mocks her, asking if she thinks she’s Miss World, expecting him to follow her around. He calls her incompetent and directionless, saying he won’t ruin his life for her.
Indu tells him her only fault was loving a liar like him. Because of the false hope he gave her, she had brought Rajender to meet him — and now he lies in a hospital. If anything happens to her father, she won’t spare him.
Mahesh tells security to throw her out. Indu warns them not to touch her.
Mansi steps in and tries to calm her, saying they’ll discuss everything tomorrow and she’ll take care of the medical expenses. Mahesh rudely claims Indu wants money and her emotional drama is just a trick. He calls her “middle class” and says she just wants financial help.
Indu lashes out, asking if he really thinks she wants money from a man who lived in her house rent-free, ate her food, even stole from her wallet to pay his phone bills. She asks what “standard” he’s talking about.
Mahesh looks embarrassed and says he might have been broke then, but he’s not like her — creating scenes publicly.
Indu says he played with her emotions in the name of love. That game taught her that love is crueler than death. She thanks him for revealing his true character and says she may not be rich, but she does not live cheap like him.
She throws the ring at him and says whatever he spent on her can be reimbursed with it. Mahesh, furious, walks away.
Indu gathers her things and leaves crying. Ritesh glares at Mahesh and follows her. He calls out to Indu, but she takes an auto and leaves.
Rahul asks what he’s doing. Ritesh says her heart is broken and no one deserves to lose faith in love like this. Then he heads back to confront Mahesh.
At the hospital, Rajender is discharged. Indu asks the doctor if they can take him home by bus, and he agrees. She tells herself she doesn’t want to stay in the city any longer.
Back at Mahesh’s house, Ritesh defends Indu when Mahesh calls her a gold digger. Ritesh angrily tells him that her tears were real. He questions Mansi for not checking Mahesh’s background before marrying him and advises her to leave him because he’s a cheater.
Mahesh gets furious and punches Ritesh, who hits him back and warns Mansi to protect herself from him.
Someone stands in front of the bus at night. People yell at the person to move. Indu steps down and sees who it is.
The next morning, Indu holds a baby in her arms and asks her father how any mother could abandon her child. A man suggests handing the baby to the police. Indu places the infant in a lost-and-found box and turns to leave — but stops when her shawl gets caught on the baby’s tiny hand.
