Jhanak embraces the villagers at Simulboni, expressing how much she missed them. Sakhi notices her thin appearance and inquires about Rishi. Jhanak explains that Rishi is a busy police officer and rarely gets leave. Prakash asks if she will appear for the exam, and Jhanak says she is always giving exams and will do so this time as well. Parashar senses that Jhanak is hiding something. Prakash wonders whether her in-laws accepted her and feels something is amiss.

Sakhi asks if Jhanak will leave after exams, to which she replies she will stay a few more days. She mentions that her in-laws love her a lot. Nutan comes out, hugs Jhanak, and Jhanak reflects on how Rishi left her, similar to how Nutan’s husband left her.

Meanwhile, in the city, Arshi informs Aditi’s friends that Aditi is not talking to anyone. Only Anjana goes inside to give her food. Arshi comments that she never liked Rishi and understands how painful it is to see a husband love someone else. She urges Aditi’s friends to help her move on. Madhu explains that Rishi was forced to marry the village girl, and Arshi adds that Rishi hid the truth and deserves the village girl, expressing relief that the truth came out before the marriage.

Madhu worries that if things continue, Aditi could fall into depression. She decides to encourage Aditi to rejoin college. Arshi notes that Aditi must be anxious about facing her students and colleagues. Madhu reassures her that Aditi will eventually move on. They reach Aditi’s room, and Arshi tells her to open the door for her friends. Aditi opens the door, welcomes her friends, and Arshi leaves.
