Choto Ma tells Jaya to get ready, insisting she will not take Surjo to a dangerous place. Surjo’s sister asks Choto Ma to take her along as well, but Surjo scolds his sister, saying she is planning to bunk college, and sends her to get ready. Meanwhile, Grandma wonders whether Surjo has truly agreed to get married.
Elsewhere, Pool comments on Noyontara’s car, calling it impressive. Noyontara compliments the car’s beauty. Everyone gets into the car except Noyontara. The spirit Bopul asks her who will deliver her message to her husband. Noyontara reflects that she became a little selfish after seeing her family and reassures Bopul that she will fulfill her promise.
Meanwhile, Surjo asks Choto Ma why Grandma claims to know many things but never speaks about them. Choto Ma tells him to let it go and reveals that she contacted Trilochan, whose wife informed her that Trilochan died two days after Shaoli’s death, in the river of his village.
Grandma instructs Driver Vinoth to find out what happened at the ashram. Surjo insists on driving the car himself. Vinoth pretends to cry, claiming he cannot risk Surjo’s life after the previous day’s events. Choto Ma remarks on how much Vinoth cares for Surjo. As they travel, Surjo questions how Trilochan could have died in the river since he knew how to swim. Choto Ma tells him to pray to Gurudev. Surjo reflects that he cannot protect anyone and does not want to ruin any girl’s life. Upon arriving at the ashram, Vinoth reports Trilochan’s death to Grandma, leaving her confused.
Meanwhile, Dida prays for God to find a good husband for Noyontara in Kolkata. The temple bell rings, signaling that her prayers have been heard.
Gurudev states that Surjo’s future wife will have divine qualities and will protect him from all troubles. Choto Ma informs Gurudev that Surjo is reluctant to marry. Gurudev questions Surjo about caring for his mother’s sacrifices, and Surjo admits he will only marry if he finds such a girl. Unbeknownst to him, Vinoth overhears this conversation.
Later, Noyontara asks her father to stop the car briefly so she can finish some work. Pool urges her to hurry. Noyontara steps out and meets Bopul’s husband, telling him she has come to deliver a message. She calls for Bopul, keeping her promise to the spirit.
Precap: Surjo warns Choto Ma to be careful, as he cannot see clearly. Noyontara witnesses Shaoli trying to close Surjo’s eyes and intervenes to save him. Later, Choto Ma asks Gurudev if talking to ghosts is a divine quality. Gurudev confirms it and asks, “Where is that girl?”
