Surjo wakes up after hearing a knock at the door. The servants, Meena and Shankar, try to usher an old lady away, but Surjo stops them and asks the lady what happened. She explains that she wants to leave because strange events are happening in the house. Meena complains that the lady is always troubled, but Surjo assures her that nothing will happen. The old lady says no one listens to her and requests medicine.

Surjo inquires why she wants medicine. The old lady explains that Pari will die without it, claiming that Pari fell from the terrace and got injured. Surjo insists Pari did not fall and offers to show her. The lady questions who would fall if Pari is fine, asks who pushed her, and expresses her desire for love. Surjo calmly asks her to tell him if anyone yells at her and requests her to eat. Meena escorts the old lady away. Shankar praises Surjo for allowing his daughter to make eyes for Maa Durga’s idol, comparing Surjo to his mother, and leaves.

Later, Surjo meets his aunt, who he asks to take him to the priest. He raises the possibility that Shaoli’s death might have been murder, sharing Grandma’s suspicions. Aunt advises him to ignore the doubts. Surjo reflects that the car brakes failed only when Shaoli drove it, not when the driver drove. Aunt offers to help him uncover the truth and informs him that the old driver has gone to the village. She provides his contact number and suggests he visit Ashram. Surjo expresses his desire to ask Shaoli why she blamed him for the accident, but his sister reminds him that no one can communicate with the dead.

Meanwhile, Hashiram tells Noyontara that her family is shameless. Noyontara’s father asks her not to speak so boldly. Noyontara questions why she should attend her younger brother’s marriage when she was unaware of her elder sister’s wedding plans. Dida scolds Noyontara’s father for arranging her younger sister’s marriage while Noyontara remains unmarried.

Noyontara reassures her sister-in-law that she has only blessings to give and hopes her younger sister lives well. She asks her sister to perform pooja before leaving. Her sister insists she cannot leave without Noyontara, revealing that she saw their parents and brother crying and won’t marry without her presence. Noyontara agrees to go and requests Dida to accompany her, but Dida refuses. Village women offer to perform pooja daily and care for Dida. Noyontara senses that God is sending her to Kolkata to protect Surjo. She takes a flower for him and leaves with her family.

Precap: Gurudev states that a pure-hearted girl will marry Surjo and protect him from all troubles. Surjo vows he will marry only if he finds such a girl. Meanwhile, Shaoli attempts to kill Surjo, and Noyontara arrives to save him.
