Sachin spends warm, nostalgic moments with his childhood friend Ranjit, and both reminisce about the carefree days they once shared. Meanwhile, Dilip speaks rudely to his mother when she questions his smoking habit. He arrogantly claims that since he earns his own money, no one has the right to interfere in his choices. When Sayali visits her maternal home, she is stunned by Dilip’s disrespectful behaviour. His anger escalates when she tries to stop him from meeting Chitti, a woman known for her questionable reputation in their neighbourhood.
Elsewhere, Tejas receives another anonymous letter warning him that his past actions will soon catch up with him. The message leaves him tense and unsettled.
Sachin questions Ranjit about his life over the years. Ranjit reveals that he has been travelling from one place to another for temporary jobs. He recently came to Mumbai for a new opportunity, but the man who promised to help him suddenly stopped taking his calls. Sachin encourages him and tries to brighten his spirits. Ranjit feels relieved knowing that Sachin now lives a peaceful life with a caring wife. However, when Sayali phones him, Sachin avoids mentioning Ranjit, worried it may reopen unpleasant chapters from his past. Unknown to him, Ranjit is shown getting involved in unethical activities elsewhere.
Troubled by the threatening letter, Tejas decides to leave for his Guruji’s ashram for a seven-day stay, hoping for spiritual guidance. Roshni and Renuka grow irritated with Tejas’s dramatic decisions but choose not to argue. As usual, Renuka finds a way to blame Sayali for every problem, and this time Sayali firmly objects, distressed by her brother Dilip’s worsening behaviour.
Determined not to lose his friend again, Sachin decides to help Ranjit. On learning that Ranjit has been sleeping on the streets for three days, he immediately brings him to his locality. Ranjit feels grateful for Sachin’s support and learns that Sachin quit drinking after marrying Sayali.
Meanwhile, Sayali grows increasingly worried about Dilip. Riya notices her distress and asks what is troubling her. Sayali opens up about her concerns, and Riya advises her to share everything with Sachin.
Sachin takes Ranjit to the market and introduces him to his group of friends. The friends grow curious about Ranjit’s sudden appearance and wonder why Sachin never spoke about him before. To avoid raising suspicions, both decide to hide the truth. Sachin then asks his friends to arrange a temporary place for Ranjit to stay, and they assure him that they will take care of it.
Meanwhile, Sayali grows increasingly anxious about her brother Dileep. Riya tries to comfort her, but Roshni becomes suspicious after witnessing their tense expressions. She wonders whether they are genuinely arguing. Curious, Roshni teams up with Renuka, and the two secretly peek through the kitchen window. Spotting them, Sayali and Riya quickly start pretending to fight, successfully misleading both observers.
Later that night, Sachin plans to return home after securing Ranjit’s accommodation, but Ranjit insists on spending more time reminiscing about their childhood. Worried about Sayali’s reaction, Sachin calls her and informs her that he will only return the next morning. Though irritated and disappointed, Sayali chooses not to respond harshly. Sachin then stays with his friends late into the night, drinking and sharing emotional memories, forgetting the promise he once made to Sayali about controlling his alcohol intake.
At home, Akash is absorbed in preparing his boss’s favourite dishes. Riya tries speaking to him, longing for some attention, but he barely listens. Hurt, she leaves in frustration and joins Sayali. When she learns Sachin has not returned home, she reassures Sayali that he is simply spending time with old friends and there is no reason to panic.
During the reunion, Sachin and Ranjit delve into painful memories from their childhood. Sachin reveals that his early years were filled with trauma, and that Ranjit was the only person who supported him during that dark phase. Life eventually separated them, but the bond remained. Their emotional conversation goes unnoticed, as their friends are far too drunk to listen. Ranjit asks why Sachin never shared this truth with Sayali. Sachin admits he fears losing her if she learns about his painful past. Ranjit advises him to open up before someone else reveals the truth, which could harm their marriage.
That night, Sachin has a disturbing nightmare where Sayali discovers that he grew up in a children's asylum. He wakes up shaken, realising he cannot hide his past much longer. He resolves to tell Sayali the truth soon.
The next morning, Sayali faces unpleasant taunts about Sachin’s absence. Frustrated, she gives a sharp reply to Renuka and Roshni for constantly targeting her without reason.
Precap: Sachin loses patience when Sayali repeatedly questions him about Ranjit. He becomes more determined to keep his past hidden from her.
