Katha prepared some medicine. Naina questions her, while Mohan teases her playfully. Mohan then decides to leave for some work, but Katha and Vandana insist that he stay home. Naina quickly brings a towel for Mohan to protect him from dust allergies. Katha insists that he use it. Hesitant at first, Mohan finally takes it and leaves, making both Katha and Vandana feel happy and emotionally satisfied.
A neighbor, Mangala, arrives at Katha’s house and begins insulting Naina. Katha stands up for her and scolds Mangala, who feels offended and warns Vandana before leaving. Vandana lashes out at Naina for coming home, and Katha tries to calm her down. Vandana then breaks down, lamenting that Naina hasn’t shared what happened with her, and retreats indoors. Naina collapses in front of Katha, who consoles her. Seeing a shooting star, Katha asks Naina to make a wish, but Naina quietly goes inside.
Meanwhile, both Katha and UV are seen gazing at the shooting stars. Katha silently hopes that Naina finds happiness again. Surrounded by his cousins, UV is asked what he wished for. He reveals that he hopes Katha will soon fall into his trap, believing the shooting stars are a sign that his mission will succeed. The cousins celebrate the news. UV becomes hopeful when Pari informs him that Katha has begun trusting his act. He reveals that the next day will be the third and final part of his plan.
At home, Eshwar demands that his worker call Rukhmani immediately and refuses to eat. Ambika asks why, but he does not reveal anything. When Rukhmani arrives, Eshwar complains about his diet and also questions her about spoiling their grandchildren. UV and his cousins overhear everything from the stairs. Rukhmani allows Eshwar to have the food he desires. At that moment, Jhumki enters with a bottle of pickle, facing her co-workers’ curious questions. UV and his cousins retreat to their room, while Eshwar takes a call. Jhumki lies to the family about the bottle’s contents.
Eshwar informs Rukhmani about a problem at their factory and plans to visit it. Rukhmani suggests sending Vinith or Harshvardan, but Eshwar says they are already occupied with other factories. He wants Udhayveer (UV) to assist him, but UV refuses. Ambika smirks, noting that Bansal’s plan will soon give her control over the factory and Vinith.
In UV’s room, Jhumki demands money for bringing a bottle filled with caterpillars. Pratty threatens her, but she defends herself. The next morning, UV and his cousins try to leave, but Eshwar catches them. He questions them, and UV sends his cousins away. He answers Eshwar with attitude, and when Harshvardan intervenes, UV explains that the jar contains caterpillars. Eshwar refuses to believe him. UV then advises Eshwar and walks away, leaving him upset.
Later, Sandy and Bunny place the caterpillars on one of Katha’s plants. Katha comes out but fails to catch them in time. She is devastated when she sees one of her plants being damaged and breaks down. Mohan, Vandana, and Naina rush to comfort her.
Precap: UV saves Katha’s plant. Katha decides to apologize and thank him but soon discovers that it was all part of UV’s plan to trap her. Furious, she slaps UV and makes a remark about his mother. UV becomes enraged and shouts at her.
