Lalita asks Surjo whether he wants her to stay in the house or leave. She tells him she will leave if Noyontara is not accepted as the daughter-in-law. Surjo reminds her that she knows how much she means to him, and still she talks about leaving. He assures Lalita that she cannot go anywhere. Lalita insists that Noyontara should stay in the house as well and questions whether Surjo trusts her. Surjo tells her to stay, which makes Lalita happy, and she hugs him. She declares that she will organize Surjo and Noyontara’s marriage on a grand scale.
Surjo tells Lalita there is no need for extravagance. He allows her to bring Noyontara into the house but emphasizes that he should not be forced to accept the marriage yet. Lalita is excited that Noyontara’s entry into the house is happening, even if Surjo does not immediately accept her as his wife.
Choto Tammi asks Lalita if she will give her any responsibilities, and Lalita instructs her to stay away from Noyontara. Sashodhar complains that no one will accept Noyontara as the daughter-in-law of the house and labels her a betrayer. Lalita privately thinks that Noyontara may seem like a betrayer, but the truth will remain hidden.
Later, Surjo goes to the police station to bring Noyontara home. Noyontara asks if he is serious. Surjo instructs Shayon to tell Noyontara that she will be treated as an outsider in the house. He explains that he is only bringing her because Lalita insisted. Noyontara notices a red thread on Surjo’s hand—the one she had brought for him—and asks who tied it. Surjo says it was his mother, leaving Noyontara confused.
Lalita asks Poulomi about the sweets. Poulomi questions whether Noyontara deserves to be the daughter-in-law, pointing out the troubles she caused earlier and asking why Lalita remains calm even though Noyontara doesn’t possess divine powers as Gurudev claimed. Lalita asserts that if Surjo is destined to marry a girl with divine power, then Noyontara must indeed have it.
When Noyontara finally reaches Surjo’s house, Lalita feels her plan is working. Surjo is irritated by the large number of guests. Noyontara hides behind Surjo, and he tells her to stop acting, claiming he already knows her true self. Guests question why Noyontara doesn’t appear like a typical bride.
Lalita’s spirit arrives with a pooja plate to bless Noyontara. Noyontara bows to receive her blessings and realizes that Lalita’s spirit is actually present. Mohor asks whose blessings she is taking. Lalita’s spirit vanishes, causing the guests to gossip. Later, Lalita herself brings a pooja plate, and Noyontara takes her blessings, noticing a mole on her feet, which she realizes was missing on the spirit’s feet earlier.
Precap: Pratima warns Noyontara that she resembles Maa Durga. She tells her to run away or risk being killed. Noyontara realizes that the ladies in red outfits are actually ghosts.
