Zoon walks alone on the road when an auto driver notices her. He smiles, gets down with his umbrella, and she asks him for directions to Superstar Ritesh Malhotra’s house. The driver questions if she is alone. When she says yes, he offers to take her there. Zoon refuses, repeating what Moj taught her about not going with strangers. He pretends to be friendly, tells her he is also a fan of Ritesh, and convinces her to get into the auto. While driving, he claims he is taking a shortcut.
At home, Anjali informs Rajendra and Sunita that Zoon was just with them making a paper mic to tell people how good Ritesh is. She explains that Zoon wanted to start by visiting Nikhil’s house. Rajendra scolds her, and both Sunita and Anjali go out to search. Meanwhile, Asha calls Indu and reveals that Zoon is missing.
At Ritesh’s house, Rahul panics and tells Pankaj that the police have arrived. The inspector shows an arrest warrant and refuses to listen to Ritesh’s explanations before taking him away. Rahul also fails to stop them. Back home, Indu arrives and joins the search for Zoon.
Outside, Sunita scolds the neighbors for speaking ill of Indu, defending her for adopting a child whose mother abandoned her. She even promises the neighbors that she will get Indu married within a month. Indu overhears and questions her. Suddenly, Rajendra says someone wants to talk to her—it's the auto driver.
A crowd attacks Ritesh, and someone even throws a slipper at him as he is taken to the station. Meanwhile, Zoon sits in the auto and asks when the crowd will leave. Just then, Indu and Vivek reach the spot. Indu finds Zoon, hugs her tightly, and realizes she has a fever. The driver mentions how Zoon talked about Indu working at the RTO office.
Zoon insists she needs to ask Ritesh if he found her father, but Indu insists they must see a doctor. When a reporter announces Ritesh’s arrest, Zoon breaks down, worried he won’t be able to find her father. She suddenly faints.
At the police station, Ritesh is treated like a criminal. Rahul informs him that bail isn't possible until morning because the court is closed. Constables ask him for selfies, adding to his humiliation.
At the clinic, Zoon mutters “Genie Ritesh” in her unconscious state. The doctor explains that Zoon isn’t physically sick; she is emotionally distressed and deeply attached to Ritesh, believing he can bring her father back. She advises Indu to distract her.
Later, Vivek and Asha talk while working together. Indu joins them, emotionally exhausted. When some ID cards fall from Vivek’s pocket, Indu sees a waiter’s photo and remembers seeing him at the RTO office. Vivek says the waiter claimed he was out of town, which raises suspicion.

Ritesh confronts thieves inside the lockup. Vivaan warns that the waiter must not reveal anything. Sameer looks for missing camera footage. Indu and Vivek reach the waiter’s house, lock the door, and Vivek forces him to tell the truth.
