Indu Raina asks Sunita Raina about Zoon Raina’s whereabouts and whether she has taken her medicine. Sunita Raina replies that Zoon Raina ate her food, took her medicine, and is now sleeping in her room. Indu Raina picks up her bag to leave for the office but becomes confused when Sunita Raina mentions that Ritesh Malhotra left, so he can’t drop her. She ignores it and heads out.
On the way, Vivek Raina asks Indu Raina what happened. Indu Raina explains that until Ritesh Malhotra is in her life, she will face trouble. Meanwhile, Ritesh Malhotra discusses with Rahul the argument he had with Indu Raina, upset that she involved his mother. He questions who Indu Raina is to stop him from meeting Zoon Raina.

Sameer Malhotra thanks him for the idea.
Dolly visits Deep in his office. Asha, who works as Deep’s PA, enters to get a signature. Dolly introduces herself and inquires about Asha’s husband, but Asha leaves without replying. Dolly learns Asha is a widow and feels sympathy. Deep informs Sameer Malhotra that the magazine is in the library, and Sameer Malhotra thanks him with a smirk.
Indu Raina arrives at her office and is shocked to see a poster stating Ritesh Malhotra will be the Independence Day chief guest. She asks the staff to remove it, but he explains it was Kamath’s order. Indu Raina decides to inform her boss she cannot help further and enters his office. Her boss explains on a call that his granddaughter, who suffers from kidney failure, is a big fan of Ritesh Malhotra, and hearing about his visit has motivated her to take her medicines properly. Indu Raina worries about how to convey the truth to him.
Meanwhile, Rahul urges Ritesh Malhotra to calm down before addressing his argument with Indu Raina. Ritesh Malhotra refuses, furious that Indu Raina involved his mother. Rahul reminds him that he cannot distance Indu Raina completely because of Zoon Raina, and he should focus on meeting her daughter. Ritesh Malhotra considers this and decides to work out first.
Kaamna Raina approaches Ritesh Malhotra, requesting him to attend the Independence Day celebration as chief guest for Manjit Chawla, a politician. Ritesh Malhotra refuses, citing the loss of his father on August 15th and his mother’s current fragile state, and asks her to cancel everything. Rahul informs Kaamna Raina that Indu Raina caused Ritesh Malhotra’s anger.
Kaamna Raina scolds Indu Raina, then shows Rahul a photo of Shanaya Reddy, requesting her as the item song dancer for Ritesh Malhotra’s film. Ritesh Malhotra, without hesitation, instructs Rahul to hire her. Kaamna Raina smiles, realizing her plan to stop Pankaj Raina’s Bangkok trip succeeded.
Payal advises Indu Raina to consider her boss’s granddaughter, who is thrilled about Ritesh Malhotra’s visit. Indu Raina feels helpless. Indu Raina calls Ritesh Malhotra and requests to meet him. He invites her to his house. Indu Raina prays nothing goes wrong during the meeting. She arrives with an injured leg, explains the accident, and reassures him she will manage. Ritesh Malhotra helps her sit and tends to her wound. They share a meaningful eye lock and smile at each other.
