Hasmuk explains that he attended the flag hoisting ceremony in their society. Anupama gently asks why he did not inform her. Hasmuk replies that he assumed she would be busy with dance practice. His words trigger memories for Anupama, and she recalls how she has always celebrated Independence Day with enthusiasm despite life’s struggles.

The conversation soon shifts to Ansh’s upcoming marriage. Hearing this, Jignesh gets confused and asks whose wedding they are discussing. Moments later, he jokingly declares that even he should get married again, insisting that he is not too old. Manohar and Hasmuk burst into laughter and tease Jignesh, lightening the mood. Feeling inspired, Anupama decides to attend a nearby flag hoisting ceremony and then visit the temple to seek blessings.
On her way, Anupama notices a woman dressing her young son for Independence Day celebrations. The sight fills Anupama with happiness. However, the moment turns uncomfortable when the woman casually throws garbage on the road. A sweeper politely requests her to use the dustbin, but the woman dismissively replies that cleaning is the sweeper’s responsibility. Anupama steps in firmly and schools the woman, reminding her that cleanliness workers deserve respect as they work tirelessly to keep the city clean. She explains that true independence also means having civic sense and dignity for every worker. The boy understands Anupama’s words, picks up the waste, and throws it into the bin. The sweeper, the boy, and a little girl salute Anupama, deeply moved by her stand. Anupama proudly celebrates Independence Day with renewed meaning.
Later, Pari excitedly tells Mahi that Ansh has sent pictures from the Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Pari reflects that it felt good to celebrate together after a long time. Rahi pauses while looking at Anupama’s picture. Sensing her reaction, Pari asks if she is feeling jealous seeing Anupama happy with the Dance Ranis. Rahi immediately denies it and claims that Anupama and her new family do not affect her in any way.
Back at home, Anupama prepares haldi for Ansh and Prarthana’s ceremony. Bharti notices Anupama getting emotional and asks her what is bothering her. Anupama remembers Samar and reflects on how life has moved forward, with Ansh now stepping into a new phase. Bharti shares that they celebrate Independence Day at the chawl with great enthusiasm and adds that Prarthana’s family should also attend her wedding.
Meanwhile, Prarthana finds herself lost in thoughts about the Kotharis. Sensing her worry, Anupama encourages her to try once again to convince her family. Prarthana admits that she feels helpless, as the Kotharis refuse to understand her love for Ansh. Anupama motivates her not to give up and reassures her that honesty and courage matter. Gathering strength, Prarthana asks Anupama to accompany her to her parental home.
Elsewhere, Parag firmly asks Gautam to return home. Gautam taunts Parag, accusing him of sending him away to prevent any drama at Prarthana’s wedding. Soon after, Prarthana and Anupama arrive at the Kothari house. Their presence immediately angers the family. Rahi questions Anupama for coming along with Prarthana. Anupama calmly responds that instead of questioning her, Rahi should ask the Kotharis why Prarthana is afraid to visit her own family alone.
Prarthana pleads with the Kotharis to attend her wedding and bless her new beginning. Vasundhara strongly opposes the marriage, while Parag and Khyati also stand against Prarthana’s decision. Seeing the injustice, Anupama finally lectures Parag, questioning how a father can refuse to support his daughter’s happiness and courage. Her words leave the atmosphere tense and emotionally charged.
