The media follows Ritesh outside the court. Ritesh asks Rahul about his lawyer. Rahul says he tried calling, but the lawyer was not answering. Soon, the lawyer arrives and greets Ritesh. Ritesh asks about the paperwork. Sumanth assures him that all paperwork has been completed.

Meanwhile, Kaamna asks Vivaan about Sameer’s whereabouts. Vivaan, who is eating, says he does not know and asks why she is asking. Kaamna reveals that Ritesh is planning to legally adopt Zoon with the help of Deep and Dolly, and she wants to know what is going on. Vivaan mocks her, saying Ritesh does not share anything with her anymore. An irritated Kaamna scolds Vivaan and orders him to take her to the court so they can see Ritesh’s plan for themselves.
Outside the court, Sameer grows frustrated because Kadambari is not answering his calls. Meghna informs Indu about Ritesh’s lawyer Sumanth, saying he has never lost a case except once, and that too against her. She confidently assures Indu that they will win this case. Indu feels hopeful.
Both Indu and Ritesh stand opposite each other with their respective lawyers. Sumanth greets Meghna and claims he will win the case. Meghna reminds him of his previous defeat against her and warns him that this will be his second downfall. She firmly states that she is here to fight for a mother’s right to be with her daughter. They part ways.
Vivek receives a call from his workplace and asks Indu to go inside while he steps away. Ritesh excuses himself and approaches Indu, saying he wants to talk. Indu bluntly tells him she does not want to.
Ritesh insists they should behave like mature adults. He reveals that he has filed for full custody of Zoon. He argues that Zoon will not remain a child forever, her expenses will increase as she grows up, and Indu may not be able to afford them. To give Zoon everything, he plans to adopt her legally. He adds that Indu can meet Zoon whenever she wants. Indu gets furious and accuses Ritesh of trying to buy a mother’s affection. She says she never imagined he would stoop so low. She reminds him that money is not everything and declares that she will never let Zoon leave her life at any cost. A frustrated Ritesh looks on.
Indu confidently tells Ritesh that Matarani’s blessings are with her and she will win the case. She walks toward the courtroom. The wind blows away the chunni tied on Indu’s forehead, and it falls into Ritesh’s hand. Ritesh is surprised and takes it as a divine sign, feeling hopeful.
Kaamna and Vivaan enter the court and are shocked to see Sameer there. Kaamna asks Sameer if he came with Ritesh. Sameer replies that he is there for Kadambari, which confuses Kaamna and Vivaan. Sameer cryptically tells them to go inside and get ready to enjoy the drama that will unfold once Kadambari arrives. Kaamna and Vivaan head inside.
Indu asks Anjali and Asha about Rajendra. They inform her that he is with Zoon. Asha notices the missing chunni and questions Indu about it. Indu gets worried and decides to look for it, but Meghna takes her away for some paperwork.
The magistrate Swati enters the courtroom and asks Ritesh’s lawyer to begin. Sumanth greets the magistrate and states that his client wants to adopt Zoon, and they have filed a petition. Meghna interrupts, saying that as per the law, a single male cannot adopt a child. Sumanth responds that Meghna interrupted him before he could finish. He clarifies that his client is not a single male and calls Deep and Dolly forward. Kaamna, Vivaan, Indu, and her family are shocked. Ritesh looks at Indu, while she glares back at him.
Sumanth explains to Swati that Deep and Dolly Malhotra are legally married, have been married for ten years, and do not have a child. Therefore, they have decided to adopt Zoon. He adds that they are financially stable and can afford Zoon’s upbringing. He then points out Indu’s financial condition, mentioning the loan she took from a goon, which Ritesh later repaid. He states that all relevant documents have been submitted to the court.
Swati asks Meghna if she would like to respond. Meghna seeks permission to question Deep and Dolly, which Swati grants. Meghna asks Dolly how long she has known Zoon and why they want to adopt her. Dolly replies that they met Zoon only a few times, but every time they did, they felt that if they ever had a child, she would be just like Zoon.
Meghna asks whether money alone is enough to give a child a good upbringing. Dolly says no, adding that love and a mother’s affection are far more important. Deep tries to balance the argument by saying that both love and money are important. Meghna then tells Swati how Indu sacrificed her entire life for Zoon and showered her with immense love. She argues that although Deep and Dolly may be financially secure, there is no guarantee Zoon will be happy with them. She requests the magistrate to grant Zoon’s custody to Indu.
After hearing both sides, Swati says she is ready to announce her decision. Indu and Ritesh pray to God. At that moment, Kadambari enters the courtroom and stops Swati from delivering the verdict. Indu and Ritesh are stunned. Indu recalls seeing Kadambari as a pregnant woman in the past.
An angry Swati threatens to file a case against Kadambari for interrupting court proceedings and asks her reason. Kadambari declares that she wants Zoon because she is Zoon’s biological mother. Kaamna is overjoyed, while Ritesh is completely shocked. Kadambari’s lawyer Kalpana arrives and informs the court that she has already filed a petition regarding Zoon’s custody.
Precap: Sameer and Ritesh get into a heated argument. Sameer tells Ritesh that he is not always right and walks away. Ritesh looks at the chunni tied around his wrist and realizes what he must do. Later, Ritesh and Rahul stand before God’s idol. Ritesh prays, asking God to help him support Indu in getting her rights, finally accepting that Indu is Zoon’s true mother and that Zoon belongs with her.
