Swati checks the paperwork submitted to the court. Meanwhile, Rajendra receives a message from Asha, informing him that Kadambari has come to court seeking Zoon’s custody. Shocked, Rajendra drops the glass of milk, spilling it on the floor. Sunita rushes in and asks what happened. Rajendra tells her everything about Kadambari’s connection to Zoon and her demand for custody, leaving Sunita stunned.

In court, Kalpana explains to Swati that after giving birth to Zoon, Kadambari was not in a stable mental or financial condition. Over time, she realized her mistake and searched for Zoon for years but found no information. Now, after learning that Indu and Ritesh are trying to adopt Zoon, she has decided to claim her custody. Meghna interrupts when Kalpana requests permission for Kadambari to meet Zoon, arguing that this could create serious problems and that Kadambari may try to separate Indu and Zoon.
Kalpana counters by saying that even Indu could do the same. She questions why Ritesh, who has no biological relationship with Zoon, is allowed to meet her and seek custody. She also points out that Zoon is currently staying in foster care at Vivek’s house. On that basis, she argues that Kadambari, being Zoon’s biological mother, has every right to meet her. Ritesh looks at Indu in confusion, while Indu glares at him.
Swati grants permission for Kadambari to meet Zoon, shocking Indu and Ritesh. Sameer and Kaamna, however, look pleased. Kadambari thanks Swati dramatically. Swati then postpones the hearing to the next day and leaves.
Outside, Asha reveals that Rajendra had seen Kadambari a few days earlier but hid the truth from Indu because she was already under immense stress. Meghna warns Indu that since Kadambari is Zoon’s biological mother, the case has become much tougher. She adds that Kalpana is an expert in adoption cases, which further strengthens Kadambari’s side.
Ritesh notices Sameer exchanging signals with Kadambari and becomes confused. Dolly shares her fear with Ritesh, worrying that they may lose custody. Kaamna advises Ritesh to stay away from Kadambari, warning that she has the power to ruin his career. Rahul tells Ritesh that they need to figure out their next move. Ritesh declares that no matter what, he does not want Kadambari to win Zoon’s adoption case.
Outside the court, Meghna expresses her gratitude and excitement toward Kalpana, calling her a mentor who taught her everything. She says she now has the chance to fight a case against her own mentor. Kalpana advises Meghna to control her emotions and think logically, stating that emotions lead to failure. Meghna replies that she has always followed her heart and will continue to do so. Kalpana leaves.
Kadambari approaches Indu outside the court, asks about her well-being, and thanks her for taking care of Zoon. Indu snaps and asks her to stop pretending, asserting that she is Zoon’s mother. Kadambari coldly states that she is Zoon’s real mother and that they share a biological bond. She warns Indu not to keep false hopes and walks away. Ritesh arrives and confronts Kadambari.
Kadambari insults Ritesh, tells him to stop acting foolish, and warns both him and Indu to withdraw the case. Otherwise, she threatens to humiliate them by ensuring their defeat in court. She leaves. Ritesh turns to Indu and asks if Kadambari is truly Zoon’s biological mother. Indu confirms it. Ritesh asks her to tell him what really happened years ago on the bus. Indu loses her temper, says she has work to do with her lawyer, blames Ritesh for her suffering, and declares that she will not let either him or Kadambari get Zoon’s custody. She storms off.
Later, Sumanth asks Ritesh if he knew about Kadambari’s relationship with Zoon. Ritesh says no and adds that he does not want Zoon to be with Kadambari, whom he calls cruel, or with Indu, whom he labels a careless mother. Rahul questions him, asking if he is saying this because of the mall incident and Zoon’s school issue. Ritesh admits that is the reason.
Rahul reminds Ritesh of the risks Indu took for Zoon, including running away with her and borrowing money from goons for Zoon’s treatment. He points out that Indu could have left Zoon in the hospital forever but did not. He also reminds him of how badly Zoon suffered when she was separated from Indu at the CAA center. Ritesh becomes conflicted. Sumanth bluntly states that they have little chance of winning and asks them to think carefully before deciding the next step.
Ritesh and Rahul overhear Sameer’s phone conversation with Kadambari. Enraged, Ritesh grabs Sameer’s shirt and demands the truth. Sameer pushes him away and declares that Kadambari is Zoon’s real mother. He warns Ritesh not to ruin his career over Zoon and her mother, especially if the media learns about his obsession. Sameer claims he is at least trying to reunite Kadambari and Zoon, unlike Ritesh, who is blocking both Indu and Kadambari. He tells Ritesh that others can be right too and accuses him of living in the illusion that he is always right. He leaves.
Holding the chunni, Ritesh recalls Indu and Zoon’s bond. Standing before God, he vows to help Indu win the case and decides to meet her. Rahul feels relieved and happy.
Elsewhere, Indu feels happy after getting leave for a few more days. Vivek informs her that Kadambari was the one who wrote an article linking Ritesh and Zoon, and he suspects Ritesh and Kadambari might be working together. Indu gets furious and declares that no matter what, she will not let anyone take Zoon away from her.
Precap: Kadambari tells Sameer that she wants Zoon only until she gets the property, after which she does not care what happens to the child. Sameer is shocked. Meanwhile, Indu refuses Ritesh’s help and shuts the door on his face. The next day, Indu sees Ritesh coming out of the magistrate’s room and accuses him of trying to bribe the magistrate, warning him that he will not succeed.
