Vivek narrates the court proceedings to Zoon in a simple story format. Zoon asks what happened next. Vivek explains that the judge needed more time to think, so the hearing was postponed to the next day. Indu arrives and asks Zoon to eat her food so she can sleep at Vivek’s house. Zoon tells Indu that she already knows everything about the court case from Vivek. Indu questions why she needs to know all this. Zoon replies that it is her case too. Indu affectionately calls her Dadi Maa and asks her to eat and sleep. Zoon asks Indu if she is worried about getting separated from her. Indu assures Zoon that they will never be separated. She becomes emotional.

Indu asks Zoon to eat while she checks who rang the doorbell. She opens the door and finds Ritesh standing outside. Ritesh says he wants to talk. Indu refuses and tells him that he has already done enough damage. She says because of him, she and Zoon are in this situation. She tries to close the door, but Ritesh stops her.
Meanwhile, Sameer tells Vivaan how he shut Ritesh up in court. He says it was the first time he saw defeat in Ritesh’s eyes, and that moment alone makes him happy. Sameer reveals his plan to trap Kadambari. He says once she starts trusting him, he will marry her to get her property. He makes it clear that he does not help anyone without personal benefit. He then leaves to meet Kadambari.
Zoon notices Ritesh and becomes happy. She asks why he did not visit her. Indu tells Zoon to go inside, but Zoon refuses. Indu forcefully takes her inside, saying Ritesh has important work and must leave. She shuts the door on Ritesh’s face. Ritesh pleads with her to open the door and wonders how he can convince her.
Elsewhere, Sameer meets Kadambari at her house. They drink together. Sameer compliments her house, and Kadambari thanks him. She says that even after he spied on her, she still considers him a friend. Sameer explains that he accidentally overheard her conversation with her lawyer.
Kadambari tells Sameer that her father left the property in Zoon’s name. She says this is the only reason she wants Zoon in her life. She adds that whenever she looks at Zoon, she is reminded of her painful past, which she wants to forget. She shockingly admits that if it were in her hands, she would never have given birth to Zoon, and that she did try to get rid of her, but it was too late. Sameer listens silently.
Kadambari further confesses that once she gets the property, she does not care about Zoon at all and openly expresses her hatred. She questions Sameer’s intentions behind helping her. Sameer moves closer to her and assures her of his support. He asks her to decide later whether she wants him as a friend or an enemy after she wins the case.
The next day, Indu takes Rajender’s blessings. Rajender apologizes for not telling her earlier that he had seen Kadambari. Indu tells him to focus on the present situation.
Kadambari arrives at the Raina house. Indu gets angry and asks why she is there. Kadambari pretends innocence and says she came to meet her daughter Zoon, reminding Indu about the court permission. Indu and Rajender express their displeasure as Kadambari falsely claims she was searching for Zoon all these years.
Indu warns Kadambari not to call Zoon her daughter. Zoon enters with Vivek. Kadambari extends her hand, but Zoon refuses, calling her a stranger. Kadambari insists she is not. Indu explains that Kadambari is her Devaki Maa. Zoon bluntly rejects this and mocks Kadambari’s appearance, insulting her. Indu scolds Zoon for her behavior.
Zoon leaves, saying she does not want to talk to Kadambari. Kadambari pretends to be hurt and blames Indu for Zoon’s upbringing. She warns that they will meet again in court and leaves.
Elsewhere, Ritesh meets Swati in her office. She asks why he is there. Ritesh says he wants to talk about Zoon’s case and shows her Zoon’s photograph. Swati recalls meeting Zoon earlier and remembers her words about not having parents.
Swati advises Ritesh not to defend or support either Kadambari or Indu and to let her do her duty. She sends him out. Ritesh leaves disappointed.
Outside, Indu sees Ritesh and gets furious. She accuses him of trying to bribe the judge. She declares that no one can challenge her motherhood and that she will win the case. She storms off angrily. Ritesh wonders how to make Indu understand that he only wants to help her.
Precap: Indu cries in court and tells Swati that Kadambari is lying. Swati asks her to provide proof. Kalpana taunts that Indu might not have any proof because she is lying. Indu shocks everyone by saying that she does have proof.
